My surgery is today at 3:30 pm. I'm at work right now becuase it's better than just sitting around for another 7 hrs... I will leave around 11am and head over to the hospital... a little anxious and ready to be on the othe side of surgery and starting recovery.

HW: 300 / Lapband Low: 247 / RNY: 9/10/12

On a side note, I think its CRUEL to have surgery so late in the day when you can't eat or drink anything before surgery.

I agree.. I had a cup of tea/protien shake very early this morning because I would be so sick with low blood sugar for waiting all day. It will still be 8 hrs between when I had something in my stomach and my surgery so it's the same thing if I ate at night and had an early morning surgery.... (this is how I justify it in my mind).
