What are you eating/doing today? Monday!

Hey folks! Today is a gorgeous day in Baltimore - not too hot, not too cool. Could fall really be here? I hope so!

Doing: this is the start to a VERY busy week for me! I am working (while simultaneously trying to get ready for the start of Girl Scout cookie season cuz I'm the Troop Cookie Manager AND preparing for a food demo I am doing Weds. night). This evening I am going for some gym therapy in the way of spin class.

Eating:

1. Two of my protein thingies (Lori - they go up on the blog at NOON!)
2. A smothered porkchop with homemade onion gravy and cauliflower rice + 100 cal pack chocolate cookies
3. Probably just coffee
4. I'll probably have a rice cake with some PB before spin
5. I'm making chicken/brocolli alfredo for dinner. I'll have some of the sauce
6. If I absolutely need to, I will have some cottage cheese later on this evening but looking at my schedule I doubt that will happen

Have a great Monday all!

Good morning! It's a beautiful fall day here, pretty chilly this morning but supposed to get up to the 70's today. Today I'm home with the kiddos and it is my 3 1/2 year old's first day of Tiny Tigers Karate, so we're off to that soon. I started my day with a 6am 1 hour CrossFit class. Today we ran 400m, did 10 pullups, 10 push and presses, 10 pushups (modified, I can't do a real push up), and then 1 rep of max clean and jerk (55lbs, I'm oh so strong ) and then 100 situps for time, which took me almost 6 minutes. They're doing a Paleo challenge for the month of September. I committed to doing it for the month but I'm fairly certain I won't be doing this long term...it looks and sounds more like a pain in the butt than anything. No protein shakes? No cheese? No yogurt? I don't think I can give those things up forever. Oh well, here's to trying new things!

Eats for the day:

B: Big Train Chocolate Coconut shake
L: The remainder of my spicy bbq chicken burrito bowl (no rice) from dinner last night)
D: Either a quest bar or another protein shake because I have support group at 6 tonight.
Snacks: SF Jello, Pickles & String Cheese if I need them.

I heart Big Train. I am genuinely sad I'm out of samples :(

Hopefully going back to work today for my friend. I work on call for her doing general office duties. The only issue there is that she has 4 indoor cats and Lord knows that I love my friend, but her house smells like a litter box and she is not a very good housekeeper...she is actually borderline hoarder! Anyhoo...

Eating:

B- coffee w/ 1/4 cup 2% milk and a 1/2 cup of steel cut oats with 10 raisins, 10 craisins and an ounce of chopped apple with a tablespoon of REAL maple syrup and 1/4 cup of 2% milk

L- Wendy's Chili (1/2 of a small)

D- Fresh salmon with crab and shrimp stuffing, 1/2 an ear of fresh corn with lime and chili powder with a sprinkle of Parmesan

S- It could be a cup of popcorn, a So Delicious Banana Split frozen dessert sandwich or edemame with balsalmic vinegar.

Lots of water!
