What are you eating/doing today? Sunday!!!

I woke up this morning and guess who'd come to pay a visit?

FALL!

OMG, I have been WAITING for you! I love everything about fall. I love the colors of the leaves, the crisp air. I love cardigans and wearing my fuzzy bathrobe. I love pumpkins and baking pies. I. Love. Fall.

Right now I am getting myself together for church. Today is Rally Day (the day that Sunday school begins) which is funny because my kids are not here. They are on visitation with their dad. But I am an assistant Sunday School teacher this year (I finally got recruited) for my youngest daughter's class (so 11 year olds...which isn't so bad). My oldest is in her final year of confirmation and I also have some sort of info session about that today too. Yikes!

After that I have to go grocery shopping. We have no food. And when I say no food I mean NO FOOD. So I have to fix that. Ay...

After THAT, I am coming home, going to the Y and doing my first day of my "Mom's birthday week challenge" (see post calling for ideas for details).

Eating? Not complete sure but let's say the following for now:

1. Vanilla Click + skim + unsweetened cocoa powder + sf peppermint paddy syrup
2. I am going to pack a cheese stick for after church
3. Some eggs and something when I get home
4. Greek yogurt, Fiber One, PB2 combo
5. I am making pork chops of some sort for dinner

Have a great Sunday, all!

Not really sure what I'll have today. But, for breakfast I decided to have a protein shake. I like to let them freeze slightly to make it slushy. It tastes better to me that way. I've got to sit down and figure out what I'll have the rest of the day now.

Fall has been here too for a few days - I love it! But its supposed to warm up again tomorrrow for a few days. Darn. LOL. Also Rally Sunday for us too...plus my hubby is on nursery duty for church and the kids are singing their VBS song at church - so a busy morning!

After church, maybe out to lunch?? Otherwise home for lunch. Then some projects around the house while the baseball game is on (I know, I know...everyone else in the workd is watching football today).

Breakfast: Protein shake
Lunch: Maybe out to Dickey's BBQ - if that happens, pulled pork. Yummy!
Supper: Grilled steaks and a veggie (was going to make yesterday but plans changed)

Snacks: Protein drink, apple slices with greek yogurt OR wheat thins with cheese and summer sausage

No fall in the Northeast. We are still hot and steamy. Fall is my favorite season. I love the 60 and 70 degree temps and the leaves turning colors.

I had two kids with birthdays this week and a cousin next week, so today is family birthday party. We let the kids pick the food so healthy eaters will have to be careful. Box mac and cheese, chips and hot dogs won't streach my chef talents but will test my willpower. Trying to eat well the rest of the day and trade sweets like cake and ice cream for the hot dog I know I won't be able to not have. Otherwise family and friends and a houseful of both. Sounds about perfect to me.

And Nik Colleen made mini quiche muffins with your taco bake leftovers and eggs that were a nice breakfast.

B: taco quich one muffin size

L: something light maybe a bar

D: plan is one hot dog no roll, salad and beans

S: coffee maybe some ginger almonds if need be

I love Fall as well!! We don't get changing leaves (they stay green year round or turn brown and drop) or some of the other stuff... but we do have pumpkins! And the Fair! and lower humidity (thank you God)

I did my first Tri yesterday (300yd swim, 10m bike, 2m walk/run)... yes, I am still talking about it lol ... and this morning I got up at 0500 and went out for Tri training for my goal Tri. We swam in the Gulf then did a 12.5 mile bike and 5k walk/run. I'm still rattling in my chest from that rotten cold, and my right ear is roaring from the infection (doc said ok to still swim). Working until midnight

B1- click w/ skim milk
B2 - ww waffle w/ peanut butter, 1/2 banana
Post training - 8oz LF Chocolate Almond milk
L - click w/ water

S - turkey pepperonie / peppers / cheese
- apple slices
D - Nik's magic meatballs, 1/2 deli flat, Bertolli sauce, baby dills
S - quest
- ww bacon tomato tortilla
