All liquids - feeling a little off
I keep saying this is the easy part, after surgery I have to do all of this and deal with recovery and feeling like crap from having my insides ripped apart .. haha...
By the way, I'm on two protein shakes a day : : : shudder : : : and one very light meal.

I'm just trying not to dwell on what I can't have and accept this the way it's going to be for the next several months - I'll be eating strictly by the rules from my surgeon.
I do have the headache, I haven't had ANY caffeine all week and I'm the person that is holding the line up at Sonic getting my route 44 Diet Dr. Pepper everymorning!
Just thought I would pipe in on this. I too felt that way. Actually a year or so ago when I tried the HCG diet and lost 35lbs and gained 60 back, lol.... I felt this way. Than again on my 2 week pre op diet. I felt as if I was a little distorted. Not quite right. At work I felt like I was always looking like 'DUHHHH". I was told it is because carbs fuel our brains. Without the sugar and carbs feeding it you will have this feeling. Yes Ketosis will take the fat to run the body, but I just never believe it made it all the way to the top!
You all can do this. I made it and was grateful. After surgery it is no big deal as you are not hungry. I am having to force myself to eat and drink. Good luck, you will all be on the losers bench soon!!!
