Surgey date of Monday 9/10, who's with me?

Who has a surgery date of this coming Monday?   I would like to have some surgery buddies...

I don't have a surgery date coming up but I am researching the Roux-en-y gastric bypass.  My G.P. will start my paperwork when I am sure that this is what I want to do.  I just wanted to wish you the best of luck and a speedy recovery.  You are so brave.  I am scared by it all but am getting braver little by little.  I just noticed that today is Sept. 8, today you start down a new path .  congrats to you

I am also scheduled for surgery on Monday the 10th. Feeling a little scared a little nervous and so excited for my new life. I have hated the 2 weeks all liquid diet but am actually feeling better. I have given up not only food, but I was a smoker and extremely addicted to diet coke.

I can image how hard it is to do this all at once, I quit smoking 10 yrs ago and that alone was beyond hard.   I just found  out on Wed that I'm having surgery on Monday (long story) so I didn't have to do the 2 weeks liquids.  I just started today / tomorrow so it will be only a 2 day liquid.   I don't feel 100% today and I think it's from lack of food.  I've been trying to drink all my protien and water to stay hydrated but I do feel a little "Off"   did you feel that way?

I am having surgery on 9/19.  I have some nervousness too!  Excited....I know it is all worth it and I keep reminding myself that I want to live a new life....new lifestyle.

ME ME ME!! =) My surgery was orignally supposed tobe on the 4th but got rescheudled to Monday. We can be surgery buddies! =) I go in at 5:30 Monday morning and surgery is supposed to be at 7:30. Will be praying for and thinking about you and the others going in as well! We are almost on the losing side! =)

Mine is scheduled for Tuesday but I am afraid that it will be cancelled.  Inusrance has not given their response yet.  I am terrified that it will be declined.  I have been on liquids for so long do to my band slip.  I wish you luck and hope that I am right there with you.
