Tomorrow is the "Big day"

I have been through two weight loss surgeries and one emergency revision to repair a fistula.

Yes there is pain, your own threshold of pain tolerance will determine just how miserable you are. generally the hospitals are now very very good at keeping your pain to tolerable.

I think you should concentrate on being a success and not worry about the hospital stay. You almost never hear a woman talk about how horrible labor was, they talk about how wonderful their children are.

Think of the surgery the same way, your hospital stay most likely will not be enjoyable, but it will pass and then you will get the blessing of your health returning.

I will be number four! Check in is tomorrow at 9. I have a migraine.I didnt sleep last night and my tummy is so anxious I could throw up any minute. But remember we asked for this. Dont let fear of the unknown set in..we made the right decision and we just need to work through this. Lets take it in steps. Step one surgery. Step two will be hospital stay....let's concentrate on those for now.

ALL you guys will do great tomorrow. I am so happy with my choice to have the surgery. Yes I had pain but it wasn't any more than the 3 C-Sections I had previously. Easier actuallly. Use your pain pump and rest a lot. Walk when you can and know life as you knew it will change for the better!!!!!!!

I will keep you all in my prayers!
