LABOR DAY! Whatcha eating/doing?
My fever broke last night, I arranged with my mom so I could sleep late (an extra 30min - amazing the difference it makes) before heading down to help her. I still have a miserable, painful cough but I feel better overall.
It is HOT and HUMID out, would be a great day to swim but I have to work this afternoon (11hr shift til 1am) and I'm helping my folks cook bbq this morning. All good. If I feel up to it I am going to try 10k on the treadmill tonight and see what I can expect for the one I am registered to do in Oct!
B - 1scp click w/ water
B - egg whites, turkey bacon, shrimp
L - rib w/ very little bbq sauce, potato salad, lots of cabbage
S - mint cookie w/ water
- shrimp wrapped in turkey bacon
D - 1pc fried chicken, no skin
- Nik's crab and asiago egg casserole /w turkey bacon
S - turkey bacon, ww tortilla, tomato

So sorry you have a rainy day. It's sunny and hot here today. In the 90's. I have no clue what's for eats. I will have a Priemer Choc Protein shake in a bit for breakfast.
The two oldest daughter and I may go to Disneyland for the day after 3 p.m., when the middle daughter gets home from work. The perks of being an employee. At least we can go into the park for free. I'm sure it's going to be crowded though being a holiday.

Well ... I am officially 5 days post op. My big plan is to try to get some good time on my treadmill today since it is entirely too hot to walk outside. I am still stubbornly trying to go back to school tomorrow but I think that idea is going to be a no go.
B: oikos greek yogurt + SF cheesecake pudding + SF raspberry syrup + splenda
L: FF tomato soup made w/protein+ skim milk
D: same as lunch
S1: protein SF chocolate pudding
S2: ?
I am so not hungry ... so getting all my meals in is a real job. Water is nice & easy though so at least that part is a breeze.

Yes, the weather sucks and it's humid as all hell but that didn't stop me from hitting the Capitol Crescent Trail today. I did a PR of 5 miles in 60min!! That's the furthest & longest I've run EVER - granted it was a walk/run because of the humidity but I'll bet if it were less humid, I could have jogged the whole thing!

My surgeon allows 2-3 shakes a day, plus one very small meal, low cal/low fat/low carb.
It's supposed to be 102 here in South Texas, so it would be a fantastic holiday if we had rain. We almost never have that much heat, as we're on the coast, and usually the sea breeze keeps the temps down a little, but this year, that phenomenon has flown out the window.
On the agenda for me is getting my list together of things I need to buy to take to the hospital with me, and what things I need to take care of before I go. The 13th will be here soon!

Did 3 mile intervals this am. Then took the kiddo's to the park and played soccer with them. Just hanging around the house too and doing laundry...

Took the kids to see Paranorman.
Thought that this might be the last movie I see where I need to pull up the arm rest to be comfortable. Won't that be nice?
Told the Milk Duds goodbye...that it has been nice knowing them - but that little yellow box is a thing of the past.
I had to say goodbye to cigarettes 17 years ago, and it worked - so I am saying goodbye to certain things I don't ever plan to eat again. I mean, I don't need Milk Duds. They will be just fine without me.

It has been rainy all day here as well.... boooooo!!! So I've been keeping myself busy by cleaning, cleaning and more cleaning!!! My sister and her family got into a car accident (Thank God they are ok) so I have to go to Kentucky to pick up my BIL so they can borrow a car to get to work in the morning. After that I'll be making an appearance at the gym.

S - handful of pretzels
L - (need to eat soon bc I'm getting lightheaded while cleaning) probably left over turkey that I made yesterday
D - not sure, probably more left overs either steak or turkey and steamed veggies.
