I finally got my sewing mojo back so I am sewing today!!!!!!!!  Probably gonna do some cleaning too.

I am getting ready to throw some chicken thighs into the crock pot to make some tender shredded chicken.  I am going to try to concoct a chicken enchiladas recipe using only a few corn tortillas for the flavor. 

I will definitely share the recipe on my blog if it doesn't taste like ass.  If that doesnt work out, meatloaf it is!

I started running a fever yesterday. Only 99.8, but since my normal temp is 96.6 - 97.3, even less than 100* means I feel like dook. Fortunately it was a rest day because all I could do is sleep.
Woke up at little after 4am this morning, still running a temp but my throat wasn't as sore, no headache - so despite facebook friends advising otherwise, I went to Tri training. My intention was just to do the swim and then head home. So I did the 500yd Gulf swim. Then of course, the bike is the part I am worried about, so I did the 11 mile bike. At transition I packed my stuff, but found myself putting on my running shoes - so I did the 5k. Afterwards went to my folk's house, helped my mom, went home, showered and took a nap. Still feel like dook, still running a fever, working until 11pm (8 more hours).

B1- mint cookie w/ milk
B2 - ww waffle w/ peanut butter and banana
S - couldn't escape the mini blueberry muffins, but only had 2 vs TEN (seriously)
L - Nik's chicken pot pie (made w/ turkey), baby carrots, sweet peppers
S - click w/ milk
- maybe another click?
D - Nik's Crab and Asiago Egg Casserole, tomato slice, turkey bacon
S - cottage cheese w/ blueberries

who knows if there will be more or less?? not I

I'm on vacation this week at Cape Cod. Brought all the food I needed ( I rented a house), plus I'm very close to the canal rec area so walking, running and biking will be daily events.

This morning I ran 5 miles and then signed up for a stand-up paddling lesson. I'm enjoying this vacation for sure! Tomorrow, going to the beach and going to enjoy the labor day holiday.

B. omlette, turkey sausage, strawberries
L. Turkey cheese wrap, soy crisps, guac
S. raspberry cc frozen yogurt cone
D. Chicken cesar salad
S. I'll try not to massacre the popcorn like I did last night

So far today I've walked/run 7 miles, my legs are already twitching with cramps, must go try and drink some quinine water to preempt the night time leg, toe, calf cramp

Just finished up my Final Fat Family Festival!!!

Okay, well I won't wake up thin after surgery... but this was our last family gathering before my surgery on 9/14.

Looking around at my family...  My youngest son is skinny.  My oldest son is about 10 pounds overweight - my father in law and my uncle are "normal range weight" but ALL of the women are obese... and so is my husband. 

My next family event will be 10 weeks out at Thanksgiving, should be interesting.
