SUNDAY! What are you eating and, more importantly, what are you DOING?

 Right now I am sitting here watching my daughters peacefully (so far) make protein pancakes without my assistance (like the little non-op Bariatric Foodies they are!). I am actually not having any (not in a pancake mood). 

Today we are cleaning this house! I am going to shampoo the puppy stained carpet (I am feeling better about the whole gender bender thing today btw). Then we're hopefully going to visit my friend who is two weeks post-op. She was doing great out the hospital but then hit a rough patch last week. I want to see how she's doing. We've been friends since high school so I can't let my girl down!

Later on I may try to hunt down The Hunger Games on Redbox (online of course) and we can have a dinner and movie night!

Eats as I know them:

1. Eggs and cheese

Ok...that's all I know but I'll add as the day goes along. I'm sure there is a Vanilla Latte iced Click in there somewhere as well as Greek yogurt with Splenda, PB2 and Fiber One.

 Doing: heading out to Potomac River Running to get my husband fitted for proper running shoes. Training yesterday didn't go so well for him - he walked about 2 miles while I ran all 4 miles in 50min! Then over to our friends for a housewarming party, so proud of them!
Eating: (very random)
B - 1/4 pork chop and a nectarine
S- maybe a greek yogurt or some lunchmeat. Dunno.
L - kebabs 
D- more pork? or chicken? Just kinda meh about food choices today.

5miles done by 7am, home, coffee, house chores. Nothing big.

Eats-

- uncrustables
- mint cookie protein shake
- muffin and Greek yogurt with berries and almonds
- no clue on anything else but I have a can of pumpkin with my name on it

Nothing big.  Just 5 miles before 7 a.m.  I cannot even drive five miles before 7 a.m.  OMG  how great is that!  This is the awesome example of hard work and determination to achieve this.  When I read about all of you who do this I never quit being amazed.  You are very modest and your house chores will probably consist of painting the inside and outside of the house.  I'm feeling lazy.... but I will move!

2 cups coffee

I so wish my daughter would learn how to cook!  She's 16 YO and is so disinterested in cooking because her mom cooks so well.  NEWS FLASH:  I'm not going to your house when you grow up and cook your dinner!

My husband and I eat breakfast out on the weekends at a local diner.  Its our time, kind of like a date.  Kids know they are always welcome to come but we leave at 7:30 am so we're usually home before they even get up.

This morning I weeded the garden and flower beds.  I actually like to do this.  No one ever volunteers to help so I get peace and quite.

B-  1/2 of an italian omelette, no potatoes or toast
L-   maybe a salad
D-  ?
S-  Quest bar ( Ithese)

Breakfast today was an Atkins bar and a few bites of yogurt.

I'm heading out with a girlfriend today to pick apples at a local orchard for Rosh Hashanah. Hope we don't get caught in a monsoon.

I just found out there's a Warrior Dash st the end of this month. The next one in our area isn't until June 2013, and I don't know where the husband and I will be then. So if I want to run one for sure, now is the time. But I don't know if I have the nerve.
