Stomach flu

So my whole family has gotten the stomach flu one by one i have been trying to stay clear of them just afraid of what the stomach flu would feel like since my RNY so my question is my body is aching i have stomache pains but do we get the other symptoms like everyone else ? Is it worse for us ??

To be rather graphic, pre-op I'd vomit bile which was terrible. I hated it. Post-op, I dry heaved. Surely not fun, but I think that's the better of the two.

But yes, you can get all the symptoms of a stomach flu post op. As for "worse" it's all relative. Keep hydrated and have some Dramamine or Bonine on hand to curb the nausea and vomiting.
