One-derland revisited
Big ole hugs and congrats Nik! I admit to being a scale ***** yet so far it hasn't really been an evil tool that I can't deal with. So far (I will never take it for granted) when I do see some increase in the scale I'm able to reign in my choices and get back in a comfort zone rather quickly.
Anyway, this isn't about me (apologize) I'm super proud of you for your continued dedicated. Definitely a lifetime commitment and it does feel like a job some days!

I appreciate you sharing your experience!
Yep, the wild card for me seems to be activity. If I stay on top of that everything else seems to fall into place. I don't get bored when I'm active so I nosh less and I'm burning calories. Next week school starts for my girls which is when the REAL test begins. Yikes.

Congrats on hitting One-derland again! I think it's great that your scales are not lying to you and yes, they are just a tool, using it once and a while is a good check in and always remember that many things affect the number (something I am still learning)
You seem so happy with your exercise program! I think that is key, because you have the eating way down pat :)
Congrats again, you are inspiring!

Good for you for learning more about your mental perspective with the scale. You are right - it is just another tool!
I use the wii fit balance board, because it is so easy, but not TOO easy, meaning i know i won't take the time to get up 5 extra minutes to weigh in every morning. It also tracks things for me so i don't have to do it elsewhere. I do track elsewhere, it just means i wouldn't have to lol.
I've started taking personal trainer lessons, and one thing they do is weigh me once a month, do body fat, measurements, etc. that bugs me because it's at night and i know it's higher then what i'm wanting to see. but i'm just going to have to get over that. lol
