How Long after surgery can you have coffee?

My plan is less than 32 ounces a day after 4 weeks out and for me that is way more than I need anyway. I consider my click mocha in that amount and in the eve I usually make a decaf mocha suppliment. Good luck

It is different from every doctor. I had it with my first post-op meal. Decaf of course but there it was on the tray along with some other stuff. I even kept the menu as proof!

I asked about regular coffee at my 6 month appt. I asked if I could have one cup in the morning. I was told I could have 2. I was always allowed decaf.

We were allowed coffee after a couple of months, but I found that it made my pouch hurt. It was one of only 5 things that I ever had trouble eating/drinking after surgery. It has only been in the last 2 years that it no longer bothers me.
