What are you eating/doing today? Thursday!
Instead, I opted to run Warrior Dash in VA in late September. Really wanted to try Spartan race too but it's EXPENSIVE. I think my last event for the season will probably be AIDS Walk Washington in October.
Good luck outrunning the zombies; hope you cross the finish line alive!

Highest weight: 269. Surgery weight: 233. Goal weight: 144, and then we'll see..
I rode my bike for seven miles this morning before work. I'm very anxious on it and get wobbly when I slow down, but it was less nerve wrecking being on the trail than on a street. I still like running better, but I'm banned until this ankle/achilles thing is straightened out.
Food:
Breakfast: Coffee
Lunch: Roasted chicken or turkey and salad. Maybe a piece of tuna nigiri.
Dinner: I don't know. We're going over to my husband's parents' house to visit and might just pick something up on the way home. The Peruvian chicken place sounds good.
Snack: I want to stick to my yogurt and fruit and an almond milk pudding (with more plain yogurt for protein). If I'm craving savory, I'll go for an egg with Canadian bacon and an oz. of wheat toast.
I will get back on track. I know I can do it, it's just a matter of not saying "screw it," when I make one bad choice. Hope everyone has a great Thursday!

For food I sound like a broken record this week:
wake up-Grande Skinny Cinnamon Dolce from Bux
B-The last of the pintos with ham
L-Yep...BF zucchini fritters (still have 2 more at home!), some pepperoni chips w/hummus
S-I have a huge nectarine or greek yogurt in strawberry
D-Turkey burgers made with onion with mushroom gravy. DH will have potatoes. And I am thinking some spinach for us.
Night snack-I have some skinny cow mint ice cream sandwiches. Really shouldn't buy those anymore. If they are in the house I will eat one everyday if I don'****ch it. I haven't had one in 2 days so I know I will tonight.
Still kinda down but hoping for an upswing in my mood. It's my Friday so that's a good start.
Have a great day everyone!
Oh, and I am wearing a dress! I haven't worn one to work in years. I broke both feet prior to WLS so I have issues with pain and misshapen feet. Making shoes very tricky. Actually have a dr's note on file at work so I can wear athletic shoes most of the time. Not really dress friendly. But I have some sandals that so far have not been too bad.
So Friday and a dress...those are helping the mood! No longer hoping for an upswing, dammit! I am going to have an upswing in mood! "I'm good enough, I'm smart enough, and dog gone it-people like me!"-Stuart Smalley
