What are you eating/doing today? Tuesday!!!

Hey did you use the BF recipe for the fritters or your own?

I am jealous of the crab cake. I have not had a single crab this summer. As a fellow Marylander, I am sure you can see the tragedy in that!

I'm sorry everyone, I am going back to edit my post. That was the BF recipe for the zucchini fritters.

And I have to be honest here...I really, really like them. I went into it thinking they would be "ok". You know one of those things you eat because they are not objectionable and you get protein.

Not. I wish I had this recipe a few huge piles of "what they hell I am going  to do with all of this" zucchini ago!

This had slid safely into the number 2 spot of my favorite BF recipes.

1. Taco casserole
2. Protein-y Zuchinni Fritters (sure I got the name wrong but I can't bring up BF at work...I know right?)
3. Buffalo chicken salad. Since I just can't do tuna anymore post-op (not sure why, but uggghhh can't stand the taste now) this has been a popular lunch option for me.
4. The individual cheesecakes of which I also forget the name. :-(

Oh I didn't ask for post pimpage! (altho I never object)

I was just curious to see what you think. Glad you liked!

Spent the last two days at the Cape (Cod) and am now back at work. Boo hiss! But the scale gods were exceptionally kind to me while I was away. Who knows why, sometimes I believe it's just getting out of our own way and doing something different that allows our bodies to let go.... but that's probably me just minimizing all the hard work I've been doing lately. So I'm gonna shut right up!

B: egg/turkey sausage/banana
L: chili/cucumber/strawberries
S: cheese stix/LC cheese/strawberries
D: unknown grilled chicken salad
S: chocolate protein shake/almonds

Got appointment afterwork and it's a lovely day in the 'hood, so I'm thinking about going for a distance run at lunch. I think my training plan for my 10K keeps pushing to make sure that your base is sufficient to cover the distance. I'm up to four miles now, so I probably need to push a slow run out to 4.5 or 5 miles. Hmmm, do I have enough fuel in me to do that? Perhaps a small snack before I go....yep, that's the ticket!

Love the dress!  It looks great on you!  I'd never known any different if you had said something.

Just went and tried on my other favorite suit for my interview tomorrow with the company president and it seems almost too big! I wore it in february and I was like a stuffed sausage in there so it amazes me I have made so much progress in such a short time....so that was a good NSV!  So, not sure if I want to wear it or not....but I think I will because the other dresses I have are good but not sure about an interview....guess it's all those other interviews when I didn't get the job.  Gotta think positive!!

Sorry, I ramble sometimes!!

For me today!

B-scrambled egg with cheese / peaches
L-  taco casserole or salad when I'm out
S- cheese stick
D- taco casserole if I don't have it for lunch and grab a salad

The kiddo has soccer practice (whether permitting) so I hope to walk some while he's getting his workout! LOL

Lots to do, going to take some school clothes back that he just said he didn't want....too dressy...lol so i'll get my money back.   Boys.....gotta love him.  :)

Take care!!

Doing: discovering my "inner/2nd newbie" (as in, all sorts of thrills relating to exercise & achieving those goals, discovering that running alot makes me NOT hungry!!!), cleaning, then clients in pm.

Eating:
B - eggbeaters scramble with spinach & jack cheese, tea with fiber & ff half and half
S - (prerun) greek yogurt
L - ummmm...... something with protein? I guess lunchmeat on a Cocopop Lite
S- gotta get a protein drink in there
D- no idea

I'm starting to see a trend here..... The more I run, the less I care about food. Hmm.... could this be the fix to my food-obsessed brain? Heck, I'll take this new habit in a heartbeat!!!

Personal Best today: ran 5K in 37:25!!!

I'm currently training for a half-marathon & they said it's a good idea to sign up for official 5Ks as practice. (as opposed to my treadmill!). Do you know when/where it is?
