Good morning everyone!  So my live in boyfriend and I decided that we both have our issues/demons to work out and our relationship has become terrible.  We've decided to take a step back (move into seperate rooms) and work on ourselves a bit.  So now we're roommates, wonder how that's going to work out... We shall see!

Anyway -

B - CarbMasters Banana Cream Pie yogurt and 1/4 of a banana
S - apple slices
L - Turkey and Cheese
D - Boneless pork chop and veggies
S - not sure....

Have a great day all!

My body huuuurts. The seemingly basic, simple Crossfit session from Monday hurt my body more than any other we've had yet. It hurts to sit, to stand, to lift anything heavier than my purse. I can't sleep on my side because the minimal pressure from my bed against my thighs hurts. Holy toledo, ow. So since I have my zombie run on Saturday, I think I'm going to refrain from any further workouts this week, other than walking, and let my body recover.

Breakfast this morning was a cup of rocket fuel. Concentrated iced coffee with a shot of espresso, and a generous splash of half-and-half. Not really "breakfast" per se, but I need some go-juice today. I'm wiped out.

I need to eat, though, because I'm getting a little swoopy when I stand up. So REAL breakfast will probably be the guts of a Jimmy Dean D-Light sandwich.

Lunch will be a Healthy Choice steamer.  They had the Healthy Choice complete meals on sale this week, 5 for $10... the ones with the entree, side, veggie, and dessert.  I started to grab a few and then thought, "I couldn't eat all of this."  What a bizarre, surreal thought. Not being able to finish a frozen dinner. Crazy.

I'm convinced my ass is getting firmer and rounder (instead of it's usual flat) because of the amount of soreness I feel in my glutes today!  My monday night insane cardio seems much like a mini crossfit session and I have felt it for DAYS after BOTH times I've gone.  I wish they offered it at my gym more than once a week.

Not really sure yet. As of 10:55am all I have had is water. Busy busy day at work. For lunch I will probably run out and grab either a "mini" whole wheat sub of some sort and eat half of it or I might grab a 1/2 salad from wendy's. (my fav)

For dinner I'm making steak tips with fresh zucchini and summer squash from the garden.

Great day in the 'hood. Going to see the Cowboy Junkies in the park this evening.

B: Special K Protein Plus Cereal/splash o' milk/sausage/1/2 banana
L: chicken salad, WW crackers, grape tomatoes, strawberries
S: cheese on cheese (sticks with LC spreadables)
S: protein bar
D: protein shake and sumptin' else

I'm running a 10K in October/Columbus Day and so I'm on the steady course to increase my base so that I can easily cruise the 6.2 miles in Beantown on October 8. I'm up to five miles now. So now I just need to keep it steady and increase my base to 5.5 miles probably in a couple of weeks. But at the same time, I need to work on speed intervals and increase my aerobic capacity and stamina. I always find more motivation when I'm working towards a goal.

But since I ran yesterday, today is a day at the "smells of old socks" gym where I will work on my upper body weights and the stairmill (if I can get the machine before it's appropriated by athletic coaches...they are great at hogging machines and not wiping them down when finished...yew, and they are coaching staff!).

I love the SK protein cereal.  I add it and some ground flax to my yogurt.  Right now I'm taking a break from it to detox from my carb cravings, but it's my favorite!

Watching my friend's two kids (ages 4 and 6) for the whole day, since early this morning til she gets back at suppertime, which they are staying to enjoy with us. Add in my three kids (ages 1, 4, and 6) and you've got a recipe for chaos. :)

My favorite person is coming today - my cleaning lady. I love her. Mostly b/c she scrubs my toilets. Anyway, that always means a frantic morning b/c there are things I don't want her wasting her time on so I like to get them out of the way for her. Usually laundry - and today including clearing out clothes from my baby's dresser and putting a new size in. that is a project!

B: Tried to have leftover stew - but grouchy pouch kicked in after about 2 bites. Am starting to think a protein shake is just the way to go for me for breakfast. I just am not enjoying food in the mornings.
L; a couple bits of white meat chicken strips with the kids, grapes
S: making a new chicken pot pie recipe (will eat mostly the insides), served with fresh cucumbers since we have a ton of them!

2 protein drinks throughout the day

It started out to be a rainy and depressing morning but now it is beautiful out! I'm looking forward to my run this evening. I also signed up for a Rebel Race in November and need to kick it up a notch with the weights.

It is slim pickings for food around our house and will be for a while since we are BROKE! Too many expenses coming up- need to get a 2nd car now that my hubby got a different job that is no longer w/in walking distance of our house, attending a destination wedding in Curacao in a month and all the wedding festivities before- shower, bachelorette.....I am trying to not stress over it.

Breakfast- hard boiled egg and Grande Soy Latte
Lunch- Homemade gazpacho and hard boiled egg
Snack- 1/2 pure protein bar
Dinner- maybe more gazpacho and whatever meat is easy to defrost and cook from the freezer.
