What's for dinner - Monday!

Today is a GORGEOUS day. The kind of day where one does NOT go and get on a treadmill inside. It's the kind of day one goes to the beautiful lake and does run/walk intervals while smiling at the duckies. Which is exactly what I'ma gonna do!

Thankfully, though, my gym is on the walk back home so I will also stop in there to do my pull-ups (I am on a mission. I have been doing assisted pull-ups but for some reason the ability to do unassisted pull-ups = ultimate fitness to me. Even if I can only do one of them *******s, I wanna do it without any help from a machine!) and I am going to do some push-ups (cuz I hate them...I have this thing about doing things I hate. I somehow thing they are better for me than doing things I love to do).

Dinner. Yeah. That's what this thread is about right? Um...not sure. I have a head of cabbage to use up. I'm thinking of making some curried cabbage with pan-fried eggplant, onions and peas. And for protein...??? True fact. Nik has not bought a single chicken breast since the divas have been gone for the summer. Matter of fact I haven't eaten any whole pieces of meat in MONTHS. I usually do either lunch meat, ground meat or eggs. Go figure.

Anyhoo...now that I said a whole buch of shizz you're prolly not interested in. Here's what else I ate today:

1. Click Frappe
2. Tuna in a whole wheat pita with arugula

Oh also I got my shipment of PB2 in the mail today so I am going to try my mysterious "pre-workout things" using them to lower the calories a bit. Today and tomorrow are the final tests on this thing. If it all works out it goes on the blog Thursday so no more mystery after that!

Well today is day one of back on plan of tracking and such.  I was on vacation last week so I took a vacation from pretty much everything, though eating was relatively good I suppose LOL.  I didn't do planned exercise but I did climb a mountain on vacation and walking was everywhere so I think I'm ok, tomorrow I weigh, was supposed to be today, but I slept in.

I also dislocated a couple ribs yesterday so that may slow me down a little on the exercise but I try to push through the pain, just won't do anything that directly affects the area.

Eats so far
Protein Shake (Premier protein ready mixed tetra pack)
Extra meaty, low carb chili
2 saltines and vergeer gouda

Tonights supper, I have no idea..eggs maybe?  or chicken breast now that Nik mentioned it.  Evening snack...no ideas but might be pork rinds since I have met my protein mini goal already before supper

Hopefully going for a walk tonight, around the lake with the support club gals.

Have a great one!

Well I blew my low carb day... but it is still way better than it has been being. What put me over was click and skim milk, so not TOO bad.
I did Spinnerval class today and I LOVE that class!
Spin for warm up
1 min spin, then 1 min station, 1 min spin, etc (2 rounds, 5 strength stations), 3rd round 1.5 minute each

sprint, bicycle kicks, 4 count jumps, reverse lunges, hill sprint, pushup/sideplank, hover, plank tilt, aero, 24lb dead lift row

I talked to my trainer a little bit about Tri training and we decided I am going to just totally burn out / trash my legs one week, then rest them the next (rest being relative). So yesterday I did 720yd Gulf swim, 18+ mile bike and 2 mile walk run, today lots of lower body, tomorrow an hour with my trainer. Legs will be burned.

Anyway - food.
B - egg, 2 egg whites, 2 turkey bacon, little cheddar
L - rotisserie chicken, squash, green beans
S - click w/ skim milk
D - rotisserie chicken, salad, green beans
S- mint cookie protein w/ water
turkey pepperoni, LC cheese

I can cut down quite a few of my carbs by changing up my snacks at this point... late snacks include things like berries and a ww fajita tortilla. Guess it depends on what I can find proteiny to eat instead.

I sorta messed up my day with hubby home...while I stayed within calories....I skipped lunch....finally got dinner which consisted of Tyson grilled chicken strips with a little dressing to dip them in.  That held me over but got hungry again about 9pm so I found some pintos and cheese in the fridge and had that with a reduced fat cheese stick.  Trying to be done for the evening by getting on the computer.

Looking forward to Wednesday's water aerobic class in the am and I got a call back on the interview for a second round of interviews!  Was hoping I'd only have to go through one but meeting with the bank president (its a small community bank so I see why).   So, maybe this will be the job for me!!

*fingers crossed*

Have a great evening everyone!

Its gorgeous here too! Yay!!!!

Dinner was a chicken caeser wrap I picked up from the grocery deli because the kids and I had to eat dinner at the Y again before my classes. It was nasty. SO full of mayo, I couldn't even eat it. It was like eating slime.

So dinner has turned out to be peppered beef jerky and roasted almonds, both shoveled into my face by the handful because I'm HONGRY. Really, is it possible to eat beef jerky without feeling like a total barbarian?

I forgot I had taken the rotisserie chicken leftovers to my house. I eat dinner / work lunch at my parent's house because i go help my mom. So I had
1 egg, egg whites, turkey bacon and a dab of shredded cheddar
(also had 2 chunks of watermelon, 2-3 grapes from a cut fruit bowl from the grocery store)

I am scratching my cottage cheese adn berries snack, so that brings my carbs back down below at least 50. Tomorrow i will aim for 40 or less, then 30 or less

edited because i just have to add... I am very satisfied. Not hungry, not craving, not stuffed... satisfied. I think the additional egg whites really topped of my Abyss. Good stuff.
