I didn't see the thread. Forgive me if I missed it.

Today I went to church then to the farmer's market. I heart the farmer's market. If nothing else, this process has given me a love of vegetables that is INTENSE y'all! I can't do without my veggies every week. This week I got some little plum tomatoes (in yellow and red), multi-colored sweet peppers, some peaches, a white eggplant, some onions and garlic. NOM! 

I'm about to get my lazy arse up to get dressed for the post-op meet-up some area folks have started up. We are going to the National Arboretum. I'm excited. I've only been once before, to see the bonsai tree exhibit. I am gonna take LOTS of pictures!

Eats so far. Ennnh. I always get a bit carby at church but I'll make up for that on the Wii Fit tonight. 

1. Two of my protein "experiments"
2. Half a bagel with cream cheese at church then later a few pretzels and Cheez-Its
3. Some farmer's market samples of different varieties of tomato, a slice of yellow peach and a slice of white peach
4. Ragout de Nik (the recipe I was asking for names for the other day)

From here I am not sure what I'll have. I have been trying to do better with liquids so I'm going to have my drink sticks on hand for our meet-up. Dinner is up in the air.

What's going on with you guys today?

Ok ... Really dumb question ... What's up with a white eggplant? I have never seen/had one. Does it differ in taste/texture from the traditional purple eggplant? I'm intrigued.

ETA: btw ... I'll be having meat loaf for dinner (it's already in the oven & smells oh so good).

L - new quinoa black bean and tomato recipe i'm working on

i haven't had nearly enough today and need to try to fix that. but i also feel like passing out whenever i stand up so i'm not sure what to do

  Walked this morning since gym is closed on Sunday. Then moved some outside patio stuff friends gave us. Ran weed-whip for 30 min. Now going to work for a bit. 

 Making pot roast for dinner...cooking lots of veggties with and smells yummy.

 Had an egg, dry smart wheat and some brocolli for late breakfast. 

 Coffee and a bit of peanut butter and or nuts for lunch.

 Almost had a milestone this morning scale said 299 but then clicked back to 300. Oh well maybe later this week.

for lunch I had a slice of roasted turkey lunch meat.

for dinner I had about 5 tiny meatballs with a little sauce and some mozz cheese.

Ran five this morning.. Groceries and errands and damn skippy purrrrrrfect weather

- one of the test items prerun
- raisin brand with milk and coffee and cream at waffle house
- Boca chicken patty on wheat bun with carrots and dip
- gumballs
- two snack wells cookies

Dinner is steak, zucchini, and salad

So I looked over my recent daily %'s as far as protein, carbs and fat - not happy about those. I am going to have to concentrate on more protein. As a rule my carbs are veggies and fruits, but I have also added on things like the WW Waffles before the gym, etc. Moderation, Lori, moderation.

But moderation did NOT start this morning - I went completely nutso feeding frenzy on the mini-muffins today after Tri training. Nutso.
I did 720yd swim in the Gulf of Mexico (with a dolphin! and jellyfish... who thought I was there just for their entertainment), then a nearly 19mile ride on my NEW AMAZING bike, and then a 2.1 mile walk /run at a 14min mile (I would have jogged more, but my "buddy" was walking a lot and I am too spineless to leave someone). Anyway, I was famished when I got to the refreshment table and I pretty much ate the days calories there.

B1 - chocolate protein w/ water
B2 - ww waffle, peanut butter, 1/2 banana
Post workout - blueberry mini muffins - just trust me you would all be amazed at how many
L - Click w/ milk
S - mint cookie protein w/ water
- cottage cheese w/ berries
D - probably steamed tilapia and pepper
S - chocolate protein w/ water

Spent most of the day at my friend's softball tournement with my nearly 7 yr old son. It was such fun!

Extraordinarily little.

I've been running around like a deranged mongoose today.

Had a cup of cottage cheese for...um, brunch?
Had a handful of pretzels sticks and a peanut butter Atkins bar for lunch.

And, um. That's it.

I had planned to have lunch, but forgot I was subbing for another instructor tonight, so that swallowed my lunch hour. And then I drove out to the mall with the kids, planning to hit the food court, before realizing I forgot my wallet at home. So we went back home.

Fate is against me and my pouch today.

I am about to head off to a staff meeting, so I'll have something quick before I go, maybe a handful of deli meat or something. And then my mom made pot roast tonight, so after the meeting, I'll go leech off her for dinner.
