I'm super proud of myself today, if I say so myself.

Frst of all, a little victory dance--I have been stuck at 174/175 for the last 3-4 weeks, and the scale finally started moving a few days ago--with enthusiasm! In 3 days, I finally hit 170. I'm not sure what happened, but my body seems to have finally gotten the memo and let go of some of this chub. I honestly thought my scale was broken there for a while.

Anyway, I didn't get to bed til 2am because I was watching the Roast of Roseanne, and when I did finally hit the hay, it was thundering loudly and getting ready to rain, so I turned off my alarm and planned to skip Crossfit and sleep in.

But I didn't. I got up at my usual time, slugged a 5 Hour Energy (man those are nasty) and went to the gym. And not only did I make it to XFit, but I FINISHED the freakin' workout!!

Today we did:
100 Low squats
100 TRX pull ups
100 Push ups
100 Sit Ups
100 Mountain Climbers
And then a mile around the track.  And I finished, by golly. Woo!

I had half a coconut protein bar before my workout, and a banana afterward.

I just had a swedish meatball and noodle Smart One meal for lunch.

I'll have cottage cheese for snack, maybe with some champagne grapes.

Dinner will be whatever the menu board says it is. Not sure what yet.

Ugh, why do people have to be so mean?

I posted the picture of the new tattoo to another forum and a bunch of people immediately jumped on me about how badly done it is. It made me feel really depressed. I know in the end all that matters is how I feel about it, but that really took the wind out of my sails.

 How rude!

I think it looks great. And my opinion is the only one that counts anyway. :)

I guess that's why they don't have it and you do.  We all have opinions, and we don't all have to like the same things.  You love it, it has meaning to you, and it's beautiful to you.  Who cares what anyone else thinks!  I've seen lots of tattoos that I didn't like, didn't care for, and wouldn't put on my body for whatever reason... but I'm sure people could say the same for mine!

Own it!

Thanks guys!

I love it, and the artist stayed true to the illustration except for the places where I asked for it to be simplified. I'll step up my confidence!

Teaching today, but on track.  Water is even good which is not the norm for classroom days...

Today's eats:

B - Fage, nsa crushed pineapple, unsweetened coconut, splenda
s - decaf, creamer, splenda
L - 1/2 lc pita, spinach, hardboiled egg, chicken breast, cottage, cheese, pepperoncini
s - apple (before workout)
s - 1 1/2 scoop mint cookie protein made with water
D - No idea.  Something easy.  Ground beef maybe, made into something.  Perhaps hamburger helper for the family, and another pita for me?

Today's dos:

I want to hit the gym a little earlier to get a run in before my Insane Cardio class.  I'm going back again today.  I'll have to pick up another yoga class on Tuesday night to replace the Monday class I'm now skipping for this one.  Or I'll have to try to get to the 430 Monday class instead... we'll see.
