There are other things besides yogurt for protein.  I'm of the mindset of why eat something I don't like when I can find another acceptable alternative I DO like...?

Of course, I LOVE yogurt.

That's normal.

I wasn't hungry for the entire first two years post-op!

I'm now 4.5 years post-op. I get HUNGRY now! But it's more than manageable.

It's very normal.  I'm still not physically hungry.  I can go all day without getting hungry or needing to eat.

Now mentally hungry is a different concept completely.  Distract me and I'm good all day.  Let me think about the peanut butter on the counter and I'm needing to eat it.

I was told I can try very small, like less then an ounce of stage 3 which adds meats. I have to chew beyond apple sauce texture before swallowing. I tried an ounce of chicken yesterday, it went ok, I felt way full for about 2 hours so I'm trying to expand my soft food options.

Well yogurt is a great choice. You might check out PB2 on the internet. It's powdered peanuts. Way less calories and almost as much protein as peanut butter. I know you don't have a problem with calories right now but it's a good product to try!

Besides that I would say cottage cheese if you like it is also a good option. Do you like eggs?

I'm having egg beaters as we speak.
My other staple is ricotta mixed with an egg and baked.

Not a fan of cottage cheese, unless it's in something else.
