Taking my 4 year old to a pediatric gastro specialist today - say a prayer that the doc can help us figure out some of his issues!

B - cheese stick and nsa pears
Protein drink
L - ??
Protein drink
S - So excited for a girls night - going out to eat and to a play! The restuarant I chose has some good options. Am thinking meatloaf or beef stew. Will decide when we get there. Think I'll stick a small cooler in my car so my leftovers survive during the play.

The exercise bandwagon seems to be going too fast for me to jump on. Can't wait til school starts and a more normal routine kicks in! Although we are doing a community track & field family day tomorrow and I have gym plans on Monday.

Ran on the elliptical instead of running outside today since it was pouring rain, then did a few sets of dead lifts for good measure.

My new bike pump came yesterday so I got to go for a ride last night. It was fun, but I'm so nervous being out on the street with cars that I may have to stick to what trails I can find. There are bike lanes, but cars go into them all the time.

Today is pretty standard. No plans for the evening other than hanging out with my husband. Food today:

Breakfast: Coffee
Lunch: Grilled chicken or roasted turkey and salad.
Dinner: Leftover bison sausage and sauteed zucchini and tomatoes.
Snack: Scrambled eggs and whole wheat toast. Maybe a peach and plain yogurt if I'm hungry late.

This weekend should be pretty relaxing. Other than a trip to Georgetown on Sunday for my tattoo we don't have any plans.

Have a good Friday all!

 Today's eats:

3 tortilla chips may have fallen in my mouth with some grapes when I was leaving the kitchen this morning.  So, I didn't get my usual 24-30 oz water in before work.

B - Fage, nsa crushed pineapple, unsweet coconut, splenda
s - hot decaf green tea, minimum 48 oz water.
L - cabbage, ground beef, seasonings leftovers
s - 1 1/2 scoop mint cookie protein made with water
D - I don't know!  Argh!  I'll have the kids take something out I guess.
s - maybe a nsa fudge bar if needed

I had another hypoglycemic episode last night.  Woke up around 1am with that ominous "must eat" feeling.  So I get up and stumble into the kitchen, there's no milk.  Milk is my quick cure.  So I sit and eat a package of pb crackers and some grapes, pouring puddles of cold sweat onto the floor.

Last nights dinner was pork chops, two bites of rice, green beans, and 8 tortilla chips with salsa.  Nothing abnormal.  What WAS abnormal was the sample of lemon creamy chew and chocolate creamy chew that I had at a support group meeting.  Stats?  75 total calories, 7 grams of sugar (FIRST ingredient), 12 carbs, and 3 grams fat.  For a vitamin, catering to bariatrics.  I tossed the remaining samples out.  It was most likely those, but exacerbated by the bites of rice and tortilla chips.  But no thank you.

Today's dos:
Since I skipped yoga last night to hit this support group I need to make a trip by the gym today.  And if I don't gym then I need to hit my Jillian DVD or my p90x rip off workout.

I gotta say...I do not like yogurt, but I don't mind it whipped with a little peanut butter, I really need protein, I know it adds calories but is it ok at this point or should I just not have yogurt?
