You are doing great and please don't get overwhelmed by the new eating. I never counted calories - what was important was plenty of fluids and high protein. If I stuck with those two things all was well. Keep it simple on yourself. I never exercised intentionally - I just parked further out, took stairs instead of elevators, and walked to places that were close rather than getting in the car and driving to them. I lost 120 pounds initially and have regained 20 intentionally - this is over an eight year period. Just go with it and enjoy the ride!!!

I also had surgery June 6th...I have lost 46 lbs, I am loosing approx. 2.5 aweek. Im starting at the Y today with a fitness routine but have been walking (which I hate) for 20 mins or so 2-3 times a week. i have degenerative disc disease in 4 lumbar vertabrae but with the weight I have lost its gotten better so my dr is encouraging me to exercise more. I honestly would suggest you see your therapist as you see fit, I see mine every 2 weeks and we talk about EVERYTHING that is going on in my life. My fiancee has never been what I would consider "fat" her high weight was 180. Theres alot of stuff I dont think she understands even though she tries. Another thing you could do is find a WLS group in your area. Hope your health continues to improve
