 Well you're only, what, 2 weeks post-op? I felt like the walking dead until AT LEAST 2 mos. post op. Eventually you'll get your mojo back. If you're anything like me you'll become the damn Energizer Bunny.

 couldn't sleep again last night. was up til around 4. ugh. i really need to get on schedule, my mom is getting here friday and i need to be up super early and i have some jam-packed days planned for us, full of walking, eating, and shopping! and a broadway show if we can get tickets to a good one for cheap.

i've been on track for a few days and my weight bounced up, i know i'm probably retaining a bit, and i tend to bounce up before down so i'm keeping my fingers crossed. i'd love to be back under 150 before school starts back up at the end of the month.

b - 2 slices of bacon, scrambled egg, and grapes
l - ham and cheese rollups
s - iced coffee shake on the subway on my way down to the library. ahh starting research!
d - i'm gonna get something downtown, i have about 500 cals to play with after my plan so we'll see what i end up with. i get e-mail alerts when this yummy soup place (hale & hearty) is carrying my tomato cheddar soup and i got one today so hopefully they have some left by the time i'm ready to eat.
s - string cheese and sf pudding

so before dinner i'm at 788 cals and 67 protein, with the soup it would be 1128 cals and 80 protein

I am beat.....having dinner with some girls friends and then I an hitting the sheets early!
Breakfast- grande soy latter and cottage cheese w/ blueberries
Lunch-ham, cheese and pickle rolls
Snack- nectarine
Dinner- all depends on where we go for dinner......

B:  chocolate protein shake/turkey sausage

L:  oat bran pita with ham/cheese/cucumbers

S:  Quest Protein Bar

D:  Chicken, rice, sauteed squash

Funny how life/attitudes change, eh?  Today they had appreciation luncheon for all the summer work students, which meant free lunch at the award winning dining hall on campus; I bagged it and went to the gym instead.  Anti-social, maybe, but more important was my getting in a workout at lunch (stairstepper and upper body circuit), since I am actually having coffee with someone from my first foray into online dating this evening    I don't think he's much of  a potential match, but I need the practice (and I won't tell him that) since I haven't had  a meet n' greet or dated anyone in nigh on 25 years.  Crap I'm old....
