I slept last night! Hallelujah and praise the Sandman! I feel SO much better. Funny how one missed night of sleep can mess you all up.

Today is work then spin class then nothingness as per usual. I'm on countdown. 17 days until the Divas come back! I'm so excited! But there's still lots to do before they come home and before school starts so I'm trying to stay focused.

I've been pretty on track with eating/exercising lately too (woot!). My goal for this week is to return to Onederland. 199. I weighed in at 201.3 this week so I think I can do it if I stay on top of my activity. Send exercise motivational juju my way please! Even though I'm in a good place with it, that juju never goes to waste.

Eats:

1. Egg/Bacon sandwich with cheese on a WW Arnold Thin
2. Click Frappe
3. Probably a Chike iced coffee with skim before spin
4. Maybe another homemade Lunchable after spin. Either that or something with eggs.
5. Greek yogurt, Splenda, a bit of NSA peach butter and Fiber One

It's gonna be a yummy day!

Oh my word it still hurts to move.  I slept in my clothes last night because I couldn't get my arms behind me to take my bra off or above me to pull my shirt off.  Monday's class was a killer!

Today's eats:

B - fage, cherries, splenda
s - decaf hot tea, splenda, water
L - cabbage stuff from dinner last night.  I was right.  No one else even tried to TASTE it.  Ewww cabbage syndrome.  Even the hubby.
s - mint cookie protein made with water
D - Yeah, we don't know.  Hubby is off today so I'll get him to take something out to thaw.

Today's dos:

Zumba at 7, so the plan is to hit the gym by 620 (630 at the latest) and sneak in a run before class.  That way I'm headed home at 8 instead of 840.

Today is better than yesterday. Mom-in-law sounded pretty okay on the phone last night and has opted to try IV nutrition at home and chemo again later this week. We are all crossing our fingers for her.

I did get up and run this morning, but got a tire pump for my bike at last and should be able to go for a ride after work! I'm excited. It will be a nice change from running.

Food today:
Breakfast: Coffee
Lunch: Bun-less turkey burger with caramelized onions
Snack: Yogurt
Dinner / Evening snack: No clue, I'm going to see what looks good at the farmer's market after work.

Have a good Wednesday all!

I'm sure we'll be hearing all about Nik's Adventures in Onderland in no time. and yes, a single night of no sleep can really mess with a person. There's a reason sleep deprivation is a form of psychological warfare. I'm glad you're feeling better!

Today, I returned to the gym and got my Crossfit on. We did the Dozen Dirty Thirties.

Run 6 laps around the track
30 TRX Pullups
30 Walking Lunges
30 Air Squats
30 No-Cheat Pushups
30 Wall-Kicks
30 Double Jumprope (I can't do doubles, so I did 90 singles)
30 Burpees
30 Turkish Get-Ups (picture here)
30 Medicine Ball Crunches
30 Dueling Clocks (Basically, crunch with your torso and your legs)

Gosh, what else...? There were two more circuits, and I can't remember what they were. You kind of go through them in a gasping, sweat-fueled fog. We finished by running another 6 laps and stretching.

Anyway, got my butt handed to me on a platter, but managed to complete the whole session, which was pretty awesome. I've got exercise juju to spare right now, so I'm sending heaps to you, Nik.

Breakfast - An individual cup of cottage cheese.
Snack - Gonna have a banana here in a minute to refuel.
Lunch - A Chicken Parmesan SmartOne meal
Snack - Atkins bar before I teach
And then I'll have a late dinner of leftover enchiladas with my edamame salad.

I need to YouTube a burpee. I keep hearing about them but have never done one.

And now Paul has me contemplating Hungarian Split Squats. I figure why not? My bum can always use a pick-me-up!
