Breakfast slipped right by me today...took out a string cheese but never ate it. Usually have a protein drink (mixed with crystal light) in the morning also but didn't get that in. Got caught up with the kids, folding laundry, cleaning up the living room...and all of a sudden it was lunchtime! Oops. Gotta be careful about that.

Lunch: Part of a leftover wrap from eating out last night. Opened it up and ate the filling: turkey lunchmeat, a little avacado, pepper jack cheese, diced tomato, all topped with a small amount of chipotle ranch dressing.

Supper: Took out a meal I had frozen weeks ago - perfect for the last night of VBS when we are eating in a hurry to get out the door - its chicken breasts, carrots and potatoes cooked in cream of mushroom soup. I haven't tried chicken breast in a few weeks so want to give it another go - a small amount of that and some carrots will fill me up.

And of course my protein drinks.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY AMANDA! I was on my liquid diet for my birthday - and it really wasn't that huge of a deal. Just accepted that that was the way it was and moved on.

My plan also discourages snacking between meals - but I'm nursing those protein drinks most of the day so that helps keep me away from the snacks.

 Thank you!!  I'm on purees.  I don't know why everyone thinks it's such a big deal.  They keep telling me they'll do a "re-do" next birthday.  It's like they miss it more than me.  I'm content with tuna.

Did a yoga session at lunch; man I feel great and noodly! And of course just want to chill on my yoga mat in a darkened office all afternoon, if only....

B: kashi go lean/milk/turkey sauage
L: chili with brown rice/string cheese/NSA pears
S: Quest Apple Bar
D: chicken, veggies, spinach salad
S: protein shake

Going to Zumba after work. The Thursday Zumba instructor has got some bodacious moves...I, of course, look like Elaine from Seinfeld trying to do them, but it's a ton o'fun anyway. Then home to prep for a mini-weekend vacation to the Cape. It'll be nice to be away even if it is just for two days.

Nose back to grindstone, not to yoga mat....

 that's how i feel on my tuesday zumba class lol. unfortuntely i don't make it too often because an 8:15 pm class just feels so late to be going to the gym

 My Zumba instructor is sooooo curvy and voluptuous and here I am trying to mimic her with my straight no hips runner's body.  Not even close!  But I'm having a great time doing it - or TRYING to do it.

Last night I burned almost 370 calories in the hour.  Plus another 120 on my quickie short cool down run/walk right after it.
