What are you eating/doing today? Thursday!
I'm working today. Then going back-to-school shopping for the Divas, after which I'll probably come home and tool around. I really hate that big empty house feeling. Ugh. I want my babies back!

1. Mozz stick
2. Click Frapp
3. Probably a McD's Southwest Salad w/ Grilled Chix for lunch
4. Protein coffee if I feel I need it
5. Something using my cabbage, sausage, tomatoes and Swiss Chard...we'll see how it goes
6. Greek yogurt, NSA Peach butter, Splenda, Fiber One

Then I will go to "ABSolute Glutes" class in the gym. Should be fun since yesterday was supposed to be my rest day and I rode my bike a little over 6 miles averaging 12.2mph (max 25!!). My legs are so tired - I have worked out everyday since last Thursday. Rest day tomorrow.
After gym I'll work an hour or so. Next is counseling, then hopefully bed after helping my mom.
B- mint cookie w/ water
S - quest
L- something quick from cafeteria, have to go make a deposit
S - berries, nectarine
D - Mexicali meatloaf, peppers, LC cheese
S - turkey pepperoni, LC Cheese
Food today:
Breakfast: Coffee
Lunch: Grilled chicken or roasted turkey breast with salad.
Dinner: Farmer's market goodies I bought yesterday. Bison sausage with banana peppers, red onion, pickled zucchini, and tomatoes. I also bought a really nice wheat struan loaf (an oatmeal/honey bread), so we'll make toast with that.
Snack: A roasted peach with yogurt or an egg with more veggies.
Man, I'm going to miss peaches when they go out of season. I've been eating them like crazy since late July.
Really excited to try those bison sausages from the farmer's market. Perfect dinner for the first day of NFL preseason!!! Woohoo!
Have a great Thursday all.

And can I just say it seems to me you are taking this all in stride? I can't count how many birthday posts I've read of new-new post-ops actually contemplating cake. There is more to your birthday than cake and you seem to get that, I see.
You gave yourself the very best present. You started on the road to better health. Congrats.

My friend (3 years post-op) actually bought me a cake. I have no interest in anything sweet. My family can enjoy it and I will enjoy being another year older... haha. In our house, your birthday typically means you get a day off of doing anything. I'm going to take full advantage of that, while my husband cleans the house and I rest confortably upstairs watching the olympics.
