OT - *I* am the writer!!!

OT- Have you written any new Miranda episodes lately. I was out of town the other week and I hope I didn't miss one. I for one think you are an excellent writer!

 Unfortunately no. Darn unappreciative job has kept me too busy!!!

I had to smile as I read your post because I understand exactly how you feel.

My job requires exceptional writing skills, and I am known throughout my company for my abilities in this area yet, inevitably, there is occasionally some upper level manager who feels the need to exercise their ego by critiquing and fixing what I have written.

Ten times out of ten, what they have "fixed" looks like preschool crap.  But hey, it's their sandbox so let'em send mediocrity out the door.  It makes no difference in my paycheck.
