Ok, Kittenlove, I think I may have to embrace the fact that...

I need to buy (gasp!)...a fanny pack for when I run.

Today I had my keys and a few things in my little backpack (it's a purse-type backpack) and it just wasn't working. It was flopping around and slowing me down. I got it done but maybe it is time to make a new strategy.

I've seen arm band pouches for keys.  Maybe that would be a easier to run with than a fanny pack.

If it is just your keys tat are weighing you down...have you thought about taking you house key off your key ring and tying it onto your shoe laces?

If you knew my history of b12 non-compliance you'd know why it is a good idea to keep my keys attached to as many other things that I need as I can! So my house and car keys are together.

I mean I am better at taking my b12 now but once I took my key off to do something like that and got fuzz brain and upset myself terribly because I couldn't remember where I put it.

ETA: Also when going out alone in Baltimore when you will be out at night it's ALWAYS good to have ID on you. And a little cash. I might investigate the arm band thing with my wings it's hard to get those things to fit right and they are damn uncomfortable. My Body Media Fit gives me a fit but I wear it out of sheer determination!

Perfectly understandabe..I did a quick search and found two options that seem to be much functional but not too fanny pack like.  Although...I LOVED Alf and would love to rock an ALF fanny pack...I'm picturing it being neon yellow or green...

What about an extra key that you make just for running?  Keep it in your armband or on your shoes?  Perhaps a large safety pin to keep it on your shirt?

I have a cool waterbottle that I take to the gym with me that holds my debit card, license, my truck key, house key, and some cash. I find I never have to take anything else to the gym with me besides that- and it still rocks the look better than a fanny pack......

If you need more than that--- I would suggest the aforementioned "arm pack"..... if for some reason, you DO get a fanny pack.....

AVOID neon colors and decals of one-season 1970s or 80s sitcoms...... I am scarred for life because when I was 10, my mother got me a neon green "ALF" fanny pack....UGH.

I am going to go have a nightmare now.
