Whatcha eating/doing today? Saturday!
It. is. HOT!
So I haven't "done" much but let the sun come down a little and it's ON! I plan to go to the gym a little later then come home and get busy in the lab (the kitchen).
I've been to the farmer's market, went to pay my rent and did a little grocery shopping. I may also get out to Target to get some bathroom stuff. I'm tired of the plain bathroom. Again, total financial irresponsibility but we see where financial prudence got me so...can a sista get a bath rug???
Eats on the weekend are more free form of course but here's what I've had so far:
1. A roast beef sandwich on an Arnold Thin (for breakfast!)
2. Greek yogurt, strawberries, blueberries, Splenda and Fiber One
3. A few pieces of sampled lunch meat at the deli counter.

My husband has ditched me for 4 days - he is driving my inlaws back to NC and then flying home on Tuesday. So I am on my own with 3 small children. After a month of family dinners with his parents, the last thing I want to do today is cook! And I've been going through a phase where nothing sounds good (6 wks out...sound normal??). Anyway, here's been my day...
1/2 piece chedder cheese & 1/4 slice of lunchmeat (Turkey)
Protein drink (Jay Robb whey protein with crystal light)
Crispy Taco Supreme from Taco Bell
I let the kids each pick out their own dinner at the store today so I'm on my own. I'm thinking soup and then later another protein drink. I'm just not up for anything that takes energy to prepare! (Did I mention my baby has decided that sleeping in her crib at night is optional??)
I was a bit productive today - ran some errands with the kids and took them to the park. Now home to watch some Olympics and take it easy.

Today was a crazy day so far! But i like staying busy on the weekends, it helps me not want to graze all day. I DID experience my first week without a loss. Boo. but, I know it will pick back up. I started lifting at the gym, so my body just needs some time to adjust.

D - microwave protein thingie with strawberries

Started my day off with my new favorite class at the gym....Body Combat. Been pretty lazy since then but am getting ready to go out to the waterfront for a and appetizer with my love and some friends.
Breakfast- Cottage cheese and strawberries
Snack-protein shake- soy milk, vanlla powder and crystal light lemonade
Lunch-some wheat crackers and cheese
Dinner- possibly some mussels or shrimp ****tail and a glass of wine.

my food has been a little ridiculous... somehow I am still under calories.... will go to bed early tonight!
Up early this morning for the Bushwacker 5k that goes over a very steep bridge - half mile of major hill. It was HOT but guess what? Improved my 5k time (flat course) of 38:48 to 38:40!!
Took a great nap and then went bike shopping... I BOUGHT A ROAD BIKE!!!! WOOOT!!!
Dont' have it yet, they are installing pedals, repair kit, computer, water bottle cage... but soon!

Post 5k - 2 square of pizza, mini blueberry muffin, chocolate chip cookie

S - couple oz rotisserie chicken
D - taco casserole, lots and lots of veggies
S - my beloved turkey bacon tortilla

Went and did yoga, pilates and mowed my lawn and did some yard work. Want to go to a ballon fesitival this evening, but I'm feeling really ambivalent about it. I'm tired and hot and hungry. So I'll go eat, and sit in front of the AC and maybe I'll get to the festival by the time the ballons are glowing.
