OT - Raise your hand if...

 you will be SO glad to see fall!

I am on countdown mode. Don't get me wrong, I love summer but...yeah. It's time.

I want cooler weather and earthtone clothes. I want apple cider and pumpkin everything (yes, I know I don't HAVE to wait to have pumpkin stuff but one New Year's resolution was to eat in season and so far so good). 

I wanna bake stuff without suffocating and take long walks in the middle of the day.

i ebb and flow on this one. i am very ready for the school agers in my program to go back to school. i want fresh apples and to not be in 100 degree heat.

but i will miss the time with my daughter with me, i don't like driving in snow and i know that's next!

i wish i could live in perpetual spring or fall!

 I live in WA State....we have had fall/winter for 3 seasons...just starting to have a bit of summer right now-where the peaches finally taste like peaches, the strawberries actually smell like strawberries so you know they will be tasty when you have your first bite.....me.....I want summer to turn into Indian Summer - well into the fall.   :P

Maybe mother nature will be kind to both of us and give us each what we want.....

Fall is too close to winter ... having come from the tropics I LOVE LOVE LOVE SUMMER ... it is hot and humid and yesterday I was quite lethargic in my hammock ... and I lazed around on the deck by the pool jumping in and out at random .... hmmm did I say I love summer? LOL ....

Two more days before we start classes...we begin school a lot earlier than most states.

What I'm looking forward to is "snuggle" weather. We keep our house at 80 degrees. Some people keep their houses at 72 but we don't think it's healthy to go in and out of 115 degree weather from that low a temperature (and we have a much lower electricity bill than most have). So it isn't until mid-september before hubby and I get to snuggle much at night. 

I also like the cooler days because I go back to making my own quiches. We don't like to cook much when it's so hot out. Our AC unit needs to be replaced so we don't like to stress it out too much. But I've come up with a variety of ideas of ways to make quiche over the summer.... I bought some Hemp seeds (11 g of protein from 3 tablespoons, and 13.5 g of fat) that might go in the 'non-crust' crust I make.... and add to the nutritional value of my quiche.

Omg yes. Mom and I discussed it yesterday! Fall is my favorite time of year anyway plus it is HAWT in TN!! I don't do humidity well.

Yes there is a special feeling about fall ESP for mom and I. Always was even when I was a little girl.

I am an only child . And I cant do earth tones very well.

 Me me me! I detest summer. I love when the weather starts to cool down!

I just want to open the windows.  My husband is perpetually HOT and sweaty.  our AC is on 72 in the house.  Im freezing to death always at home, and at work.... well it's fricking 90below in there too!  I hate it.  I want the heat, I want to be outside in it. 

I get grief when I get home for sitting outside, because he wants me around him.... but I cannot handle another minute of freezing to death. 

The fall should be better, I HOPE.... then it'll be winter and I'll be freezing all over again.  URGH.
