Showered and out the door this morning at 6 AM to go to the grocery store to buy some fresh peaches, veggies, and waffle mix. Today is what I consider my last meal day - I am hoping tomorrow I will have my surgery scheduled and officially on the books at end of August now that I received good word that Insurance approved my surgery, and I want to be true to liquid diet until then....so for today, as my last "old me" breakfast....I ate a waffle with bacon and hobo hash...
And funny thing , after eating it, decided it didnt really taste that good after all.... I am so ready to be on my WLS journey! Already feeling like a new me!!

Before surgery, I had a list of things I wanted to completely enjoy in their entirity before surgery - mostly at restaurants. Time and time again, I'd have it and I'd be like "Well, I guess it was ok...". Totally didn't live up to the expectations in my head and has made it easier to stay away from them now. For me, I think it was God making the process easier on me, helping me to avoid them as future temptations.

Humid here. Up at 5 am and did four miles in the dark by the lake (well it was daylight a lil by the end) with a friend. Hen rushed home to watch the women's Olympic marathon (and I was tearing up jus****ching it!!-- running is now in my blood peeps). And seeing Shalayne just struggle to get up after finishing was intense. she left it all on the course fo sho. To Walmart and now home cleaning and stuff cause I gotta work during the week. Sigh. I love my job but I'd kill for a day off. I'm off in September thank God for a week plus a day later in the month for a race trip.
- fit frappe and water in a blender (very good ESP since I didn't use milk) with ice
- 2 small apples and a slice of quiche (yep I made it today. No crust. I scrambled two eggs and poured into a super hot pie plate and let it crisp then added the rest of the stuff )
- dinner is fresh corn on the cob (I reserve a minimum of three ears) with spinach salad and some baked chicken.
Snack will prob be cottage cheese with pistachio pudding and mandarin oranges Another snack will be choc rice cakes with cool who frozen.

I was sooooo happy when I picked my son from his dads, i missed him so much!!!

I have 2 sick 3 y/o twin girls (aka the divas) for 3 days now. They are miserable hags. ;) Dh took my son to church and I got to stay home with the girls. I have been watching episodes of Say Yes To The Dress and thinking about re-newing our vows next year. We have been through the ringer in our 9 year marriage (my twins being born at 30 weeks and spending 3 months in the NICU and me almost dying from a Pulmonary Embolism when they were 2 months old, resulting in being in ICU and 2 different hospital for 16 days among many other hardships)

So far today I've slept until 11am :).
Woke up, had some decaf with creamer and splenda.
Then some Special K cracker chips followed by a protein bar.
I need to push the water today. I'm slightly constipated and retaining so much water. I just saw 150 on the scale this morning and that I 11 pounds up again from my comfort zone. I'm sure it's a combination of the constipation and the water, but it's terrifying just the same. I *have* been on a carb binge again lately with the dry cereal. I need to take the next week to detox. This sucks.

Will be spending the evening with six other couples that we hang out with once a month for a Small Faith gathering. We each bring a dish to complete the meat that the host prepares. Tonight is pork tenderloin.

I woke up a little before 5am to go to Tri training. Swam in the Gulf, biked 8 miles, walked 5k. Met a friend to chat and she brought me oatmeal from McD's... and I ate it. All.
Even planned eats have me pretty high calorie today.... I am just so hungry lately!! (except this morning, I was thrilled thinking it was going to be a small pouch day... then I worked out)
