Not everyone loses wt at the same rate, has zero stalls, loses all their wt within a specific time, or reaches their goal wt. It took me a full 24 months to get to my lowest wt, but I do feel much better some 25 pounds higher.  DAVE

Try calories and fat. Perfect food for that? Peanut butter - it fixed every stall I ever had. Portion control can be hard on that angelic food of the gods so maybe buy a box of the little cups of Jif - each is 250 calories and has the good fat.

Learning the pb trick really opened my eyes to consuming more fat.

Be happy.

Stalls seem inevitable for most.  Try mixing your exercise routine up. Your body becomes very efficient at what it knows.  Hang in there.  If you stick to plan you should see things moving soon.   Andrea

I am right there with you. I'm at 198-199 and have been since July 10th. I keep my carbs under 55 grams most days. I was so frustrated the other day I looked down at the scale and said, F*** you, like the scale could actually hear me. D'oh!

However, I just took my measurements this morning and have lost another inch and a half off my waist. Go figure.

Let's keep on keeping on. I used to read posts like this before surgery and think how much I would LOVE to be under 200 pounds. Now I am and I am bugged because the scale isn't moving. Sheesh,  if someone had told me this a year ago, I wouldn't have believed it.

So, I don't have any helpful advice, just empathy.

You know, I never ever took measurements. I think tonight I will and I will start using that to *measure* my success as well. Thanks!

PS: I have told my scale to **** off as well LOL.

I stalled for about 4-5 months at one point.  Just keep going.  It's frustrating, but you do what you know is right for you and things will be good.

How long have you been stalled?  I think it may be time to talk to your surgeon and dietician to see what they suggest.  You may also need some blood work done to check your thyroid.  In the meantime, keep doing what you're doing, don't get discouraged and give up.

I have no advice to give but feel for you.  That's got to be completely frustrating!  I know why I'm stalling its my daily serving of bread and too much fruit.  I've been getting around 100 carbs a day.  Hang in there and I hope it gets better for you soon.
