Upped water, upped excercise and upped protein still stalled

I have upped my protein to 100 grams a day and my fluids to 100oz a day. I have been doing jazzercise for 4 weeks now. I am still at a standstill. I hope this isn't where by body wants to be because it is not at all where I want it to be. My BMI is still 35 and I weigh between 197-200 depending on the day and I am 5'2' -5'3"-ish.

Sorry just venting. I wish I could make even a small loss happen. I would be happy with a pound or less a week at this point. Just to be losing again.

Hang in there! We had similar stats and are the same amount out. I lost very little in the month of June, practically nothing in the month of July and then am down 4 pounds practically overnight. I think it is just our bodies needing to catch up with the losses.

Keep the course! Keep doing what you know is right. We're nowhere even close to being done yet!!

Unfortunately, sometimes you just cannot force your body into breaking a stall.  You could try increasing your calories for just a couple of days to try to trick your body into increasing your metabolism... helps some people sometimes.... but, as I said, sometimes you just have to wait it out.

I tend to lose when I stay away from the gym..I've been eating around 900 calories this week and have only been doing the 30 day shred at home and I've lost like 4-5lbs this week..I think we are friends on MFP my dairy is open..I dont know if yours is or not. I've kept my protein around 70 and try to keep my net carbs around 50. I feel better when I'm going to the gym but it seems like my weight loss is better when I do an every other week routine at the gym. Obviously I don't know if any of this will work for you..its just what I've been trying to do.

You didn't mention carbs.  How are you doing with them?  My advice is to eliminate all refined carbs, anything with wheat or gluten, no sugar, try to keep your carbs under 50 with vegetables, some fruits, dairy and give it a few weeks and see if that helps.

Excellent point.  Because my own approach when I increase protein is to decrease the carbs (so the physical food intake is the same), and I have been doing this for so long, I just assumed (yeah, I know, LOL...) that she had already taken a look at carb consumption.  Thanks for the reminder not to assume what anyone else is doing.

I haven't really re-introduced simple carbs into my diet. No pasta/rice/bread. I do eat some veggies not as much as I should though, I'm sure. Yesterday according to myfitnesspal by carb total was 28 and I usually hover anywhere from there to 50 per day.

I am a little bit wondering if me introducing more excercise (I was only walking before) is hindering a loss as well since I am building muscle. I am just frustrated. I feel like I am doing things right but who knows. I do see my surgeon for an 8 month check up in two weeks so I guess I will see what he thinks too.

I know its difficult and I hate when the scale doesn't agree with my efforts too. I lost consistently lost for the first 3 months.. Then 2 weeks nothing, then dropped 6 in a week, then nothing for 2 more. It is so frustrating and its your body's way of taking charge. I seem to stair step now, and go a week with nothing then drop a 2-3 the next....strange for sure.
