So I realized the worse I eat the less I feel like exercising, it is a vicious cycle.  So starting out today we are trying again.

B:  Protein Shake
L:  Hard boiled eggs (2, but likely won't finish2) and pickles
AS:  Cheese and Pickles (salty crunch...I want some)
D:  Probably cottage cheese and saskatoon berries that I want to use up before traveling
ES:  gah I don't know, this is where my big fail comes in.   Likely more cc and berries if they are not finished.

Must ride my bike today, looking for 25K before being stuck in a car for 10 hours.

Whoo hoo!! Once I made the change to a morning workout, it's hard to do anything else.

Rest day for me today as I ran and did yoga last night (and perfected Crow!! Whoo hoo!!). I also saw a great number on the scale today and am a happy girl all the way around today.

Eats:
- pumpkin pie oatmeal for breakfast
- IHOP Simple n Fit for lunch
- baked chicken breast, baked potato, and veggies for dinner
- baked lays and greek yogurt green onion dip as a snack

Thursday, a day of heat and humidity! Holy Moly it's wet outside...and my hair, well apparently grey hair is very porous and soaks up moisture like a sponge and goes completely frizzeled as soon as the dewpoint jumps above 65. My hair looks like that wild portrait of Albert Einstein....

B: egg/turkey sausage/1/2 bananan
L: taco casserole/carrots/pluot
S: string cheese/deli ham roll-ups -or- greek yogurt/strawberries
D: burger/coleslaw/broasted taters
S: whatever I didn't have at the previous snack

Yesterday I started my "official" training for my 10K in October. I'm a slow, plodding type runner and I wanna improve. So, I'm working on speed intervals (or I think it's really called High Intensity Interval Training HIIT) on the treadmill. Yesterday I did 45 minutes of intervals at 6 mph, 5 mph, 4.5 mph all intervaled with 3 mph walking. Those 6 mph (10 minute miles yowsa!) were scary initially, I really didn't think I could run that fast. But I did and it felt GOOD!

Today I did a great yoga session at lunch and if I'm a wise woman, I will go to a Zumba class after work and do the "Big & Chunky" dance and laugh my ass off doing it!

 My house, too, needs much attending. Three days being out of commission with The Plague makes quite a disaster. 

But I'm totally pumped today because I got 10 hours of medicated, uninterrupted sleep, and I'm feeling awesome. I'm SO glad I didn't go to Crossfit. my body really needed the break.

Anyway, eats for today, so far...

Breakfast - cup of coffee and an Atkins snack bar
Lunch...?
Dinner... ? Leftovers? I don't know. 

So I'm sorta sucking today. Trying to get back into a normal groove.
