What are you eating/doing today? Thursday!

It’s Thursday and for some reason I am PUMPED!

Maybe cuz AGAIN I got up in time to go to the 5:45 Body Pump class. I am THE AWESOMENESS!!!

Today is work and then I’m going to P.F. Chang’s with a fellow WLS pal. It’ll be gab and girl time for sure! Looking forward to it. After that my house needs serious “attending to." The cat has had free reign for far too long.

Eats:

1.      ½ a sandwich thin + 1 tbsp peanut butter (gets me through the workout nicely!)

2.      Click + Skim milk

3.      On the way to work I got the munchies (about an hour and a half after the Click btw) so I got a 100 calorie pack of pistachios. YUMMY!

4.      Roast beef sandwich on a whole wheat sandwich thin with cheese, lettuce tomatoes and canola oil mayo (which is awesome, btw. Creamy and only 40 cals per tablespoon!)

5.      Probably a protein Frappe in the afternoon

6.      Chicken lettuce wraps and an order of Dali chicken from Chang’s

Way to go Nik!  There is no way I could drag my lazy self out of bed that early!

Actually, I've been way too lazy lately.... have promised my dd -- who I'm super proud of -- a bike ride on the bike path this afternoon.  For those who don't know, my 11yo has epileptic encephalopathy.... but she was super persistant and has learned to ride on 2 wheels just this week!  I don't know how far we'll get, but it will be perfect!

Eats:

B - do I have to say?  (power crunch)
L- failed to eat it yesterday..... so, quorn "turkey" burger
S - banana
D - I'm thinking seafood salad on ww.
S - SF popsicles.... I'm super into them right now.... will have several.

Yum! Now I'm craving Chinese food. We may have to put in a call to Good Luck (our local delivery joint) tomorrow night.

Struggled through a workout this morning because I was a protein-slacker yesterday. I pay for it in sluggishness every time, ugh. At least I did the workout though!

We're supposed to go out for drinks after work with my husband's colleagues, so that should be fun. I'm anxious in big social gatherings but have been trying to force myself to do it a little bit more. I know my husband could really use a positive distraction right now with some of the hard things he's going through lately.

Anyway, food:
Breakfast: Coffee
Lunch: Turkey and raw vegetables.
Snack: Yogurt
Dinner: Probably something quick since we're going to eat late. Maybe a rotisserie chicken from the store, some vegetables, and sweet corn.
Snack: Yogurt with roasted fruit.
Snack 2: An egg or a leftover zucchini fritter.

Have a good Thursday everyone!

I am excited- I have signed up for Body Combat tonight at the gym. I've been wanting to take this class for a while but it never seems to work with my schedule.

Breakfast- Grande Soy Latte
Lunch- Cottage cheese with strawberries
Snack before gym- Italian lentil soup- left over from yesterday's lunch....it was soo yummy!
Dinner-maybe chili and an egg or egg white, onion and a chicken sausage scramble. We'll see what i feel like throwing together after the gym.

Went to the mall on my way home fro work yesterday. I realized yesterday that I have nothing to wear for the fall. I hit the Gap Outlet, Ann Taylor Outlet, Express and Marshalls. Didn't buy anything because I try to only buy when there is a good sale. The scale hasn't moved much but I am down to a size 10 in pants! Woohoo...haven't been that size since 10th grade!

Today's dos:

Hot power yoga.

I thought of you yesterday when I found this website.  I'm totally buying the bike shirt.  I, like you, love to sweat when I work out, it feels I have accomplished something!  Plus I never sweated when I was my heaviest, it's a totally new experience for me (probably because I was chronically dehydrated)

http://www.viewsport.us/   These clothing show words when they get wet with sweat...they are too cool.

Heather I thought of a GREAT recipe remix to get rid of excess zucchini. Standby for testing (unless you'd like to co-test?). How do you feel about seafood, btw?
