OT - For my fellow broke people...
Well, that spends on the size of the "chunk of change". For a smaller chunk, I would do a full spa day with a 2-hour massage. For a medium chunk, I would finish paying off the credit card that I used to cover the half of the new house siding that insurance did not cover after that hail storm last year (PLUS the day spa, of course). A large chunk would mean a trip to someplace like Bora Bora where they have the huts that are out over the water (one of the things on my "bucket list"). For a lottery-sized chunk, there is a hard-top convertible with a 300+ Hp engine with my name on it (that would make an awesome 50th birthday present!!!)

Depending on how much money we're talking about, I would love to go on a shopping spree and get some daring clothes unlike the boring stuff I wear to work.
If I got a major sum of money I would donate some to charity and give some to Kelly for her service dog. I would throw a big party at a stadium and invite the entire Twin cities to show up and party. There would be catered food and local bands and it would be for anyone. I would pay off all my student loan debt and give a bunch to people and organizations who need it including pet shelters.
Fun to think about stuff like this!

I have a $45k remodeling project that I want to do on the house.... that is a pretty big chunk.
Smaller chunk... take my wonderfully supportive husband to Japan. Via Hawaii.
Smaller still? A totally frivolous purchase of these $895 shoes I saw that I only dream of being able to walk in.

Small chunk: Hair cut (it's long & boring right now; I want an inverted bob), eyebrow wax, french tips & a pedicure.
Medium chunk: a new (to me) car .. preferably with air conditioning or actually ... I'm losing hope on my financial aid appeal being approved ... So I would pay my fall tuition. :(
Large chunk: Rome & Athens

I daydream of winning the Lotto so we can be debt free and help a lot of family, friends and charitable causes. In that daydream is building a great canine rescue center. I also love to travel so it would be fun to go to every state in the U.S.A. and take the family on a long cruise.
But keeping it real, I'd ....
With second thoughts, I'll stick with my Lotto sized daydream.
