Anyone Going.......

To the OH conference in Atlanta Oct 5-6?

I have never been to an OH event such as this but am planning to go if my work schedule permits.

Just wondering if you are going, have you been to them before, and what I should expect.......

They are informative and you will meet folks off the boards.  Gives you a chance to put a voice and body to post that you see.  Lots of vendors, some bariatric related and some hawking what I'll call "trinkets".  Some advance people for the plastic surgeons are there too.  Bring your significant other since the ratio is 250+ women to each guy!

I reviewed the schedule and there seem to be some good topics.  Also think I saw a Zumba class which may be fun.  Also would like to gather info on plastic surgery but I am still undecided on that for myself. 

And sorry but I don't have an SO!  Maybe I can round up a coworker or two!

I went to the one here in Houston in 2010. I had fun. It was informative and I enjoyed meeting people in-real-life. What I found fascinating was all the "cliques". Kind of reminded me of high school. But the nice people more than made up for the snobs (just my not-so-humble opinion).

I wish I could go to the one in Atlanta, but I'm broke
