What's for dinner - Monday!

 Very busy day today...relaxing watching the olympics now.  

Breakfast:
Kashi banana chocolate chip bar
a few dry roasted almonds and cashews

Lunch:
half a roast turkey and tomato sandwich on whole wheat
handful of Newman's Own high protein pretzels

Snack:
sugar free latte

Dinner:
one slice of homemade whole wheat pizza with lots of lean protein and veggies with fresh basil

 Dinner: Thin ham fried in 1 tsp evoo. Brussels sprouts--I haven't had them since surgery. I loves those cute little green balls.

Bedtime: 10:30 is kicking my ass. I plan, I eat the plan, and then I turn into a hypnozombie and eat cheese. I don't want to throw the cheese in the garbage can, but i'm its plaything now.

 I vote garbage can.  It'll be okay.  I've thrown many a thing out because I can't control myself with it.  And then there's been many times when my intenion was to throw it out but I end up hunched over the sink picking all the good chocolatey bits out of the nsa ice cream while telling myself it's going to be tossed down the sink...

 But...but...but it's Tillamook Pepper Jack cheese! With little bits of hot peppers suspended in it...so pretty...so comforting...

I'm going to throw it away.

B: premier protein choc shake
S: low fat string cheese stick
L: 2 tbsp hummus with a little greek yogurt mixed in; some red pepper strips
S: cup of Chobani
D: about 2 ounces of a grilled turkey burger made with ground turkey breast, chopped spinach, blue cheese crumbles and seasonings; 5 baked sweet potato fries

Dinner was a clusterfluff. In some bizarre slip of sanity and misplaced sense of obligation, I agreed to work a split shift this session, with a back-to-back double class in the evening.

Normally,
1) I don't work split shift, and
2) I don't work evenings

Today, I remembered why. It was just a hectic, frustrating, way-too-busy day. Thankfully, this session is only 3 weeks, and then I can go back to my calm, steady mornings.

So this afternoon, I ran to the grocery and picked up dinner for the kids and myself. I fetched my son from camp at 4:00 and fed them in the YMCA lobby. I split a corned beef and provolone tortilla wrap with my son. Then I shunted them off into daycare and went to teach.

I'm having a low sodium V8 right now, and will probably scrounge up something else a bit later, though I don't yet know what. Possiby just some greek yogurt.

I'm getting a little frustrated. Nothing major, just a little bit. I've been Crossfitting my everloving butt off, and the scale hasn't moved in almost a month. I dipped down to 175 and change a couple weeks ago, but it bounced right back up to 177 and has stuck there. So I need to figure out what needs to change and change it.

I dunno if this is comforting or disconcerting but...

For some reason I didn't look at your screen name and read your post and it didn't come together for me that that was you. I said to myself "that sounds like Charlie." Took me a moment to realize it WAS you cuz your face looks...different. Is that a recent pic?

You are gorgeous as ever, just different.

 Aw, thanks. :)  That's sweet of you. I don't know if you can really tell in this photo, but I just colored my hair a few days ago. Went from bright red to dark auburn.  I just took this pic day before yesterday. :)

I was going to have taco casserole and a spinach salad, but I went to the grocery store instead. I ended up eating a AFC chef sampler sushi platter minus the rice. Was good!

Must go practice piano. Night y'all.
