I will be having Greek yogurt. DH has request fried bologna sandwiches. Back when, I could get down with some fried bologna, but now? Nuh uh, no way no how.

Nik, I gots a question for you. You have said in the past you eat quite a bit for a post op, but when I see you post, it doesn't look like that much to me. Am I misunderstanding or are you referring to what you can eat vs. what you actually eat?

Yes, I don't eat nearly as much as I can eat most of the time.

I'm also a big believer in what I call "defensive eating." I tend to eat really protein heavy stuff to prevent myself from eating crap. Because crap-food is my weakness!

Okay, gotcha. Thanks for explaining. I too eat protein heavy or I'm tempted to eat garbage like simple white carbs, which as you know are the devil.

I had a protein bar for breakfast.

Lunch was roasted chickpeas.

Dinner was a burrito bowl at Chipotle (yum!) with a little brown rice, black beans, peppers and onions, green chili salsa and cheese.

I gotta eat something for a snack later but I don't know what.  I'm having a "not hungry" day.  Maybe a protein shake.

I made taco casserole, but went a little too cray-cray on the garlic.  It's, uh, intense.  Delicious, but too much garlic always makes me a little queasy.

I love garlic.  I made some babaganoush not too long ago, and wasn't thinking.  I peeled a whole head of garlic because I was making salsa the next day.  Yup.  I put the whole head in there.  I couldn't breathe on anyone within 15 feet for about 3 days.  I was sweating garlic!

Dinner was a pounded out chicken breast, lightly seasoned and then dipped in egg. Sauteed on each side until golden. Finished with some herbs and a little white wine vinegar. Served with mandoline cut zucchini tossed in wine vinegar and garlic. Had it with 1.5 oz. warm Italian bread with 5g butter.

Dessert was a strawberry yogurt. I might have a blondie later, since I know that the rest of the batch is going to the office tomorrow.
