What's for dinner - Monday!

I am just coming down off of a totally anticipated mini-dump. I knew it was coming and walked straight into it. Good thing is now I have sort of an aversion developing...

Dinner was supposed to be cabbage and sausage but I'm already feeling like I won't want to cook that, so let's go with eggs, k? I can eat eggs any day, any time, any way. I love eggs!

Here's what else I had today:

1. PB Greek yogurt with Fiber One
2. Protein Frappe
3. My Egg Foo Yung patty and a bit of my quinoa stuff (as yet unnamed)
4. A small piece of cake and about 2 tbsp ice cream at a farewell party (the offending food!)

Going to spin this evening. I'm sort of excited.

What's on YOUR plate today?

6 days post op

Prob 2 oz broth and a jello cup

What did you mini dump on?

eta:  I ended up eating 4 oz. of chicken broth, 1 sugarfree pudding cup and 1 sugarfree jello cup.  That seems like a lot to me but I was really hungry!

Look at the list of food above. It's obvious!

 Girl, I shoulda known.

But I will say at least the cake was good. It was just a teeny piece but I hadn't eaten in a few hours. If I had eaten a meal sooner before that I likely would not have had such an immediate and strong reaction.

By the way a mini-dump for me is a normal dump for everyone else. A normal dump for me is like a two day ordeal. This was about 20 minutes of sweaty, fast heartbeat, need to sit down, etc. Full dump is all that times 100 over the course of two days with stomach pains, nausea and diarrhea.

I should explain that I am on a High Protein Fast...this is my second day....I can't do the optifast so this is according to the diet my surgeon gave me.  However there are rules here they are :no more 5g of fat per serving ,no more than 15g of carbs per serving, no more than 10g of sugar per serving.

BREAKFAST 11/2cheese strings,1 egg white (total2oz) ,1cup skim milk,1slice ww toast

LUNCH    1 cup cucumber, deli turkey and a mini babybel (total 3oz), 2 slices ww bread

DINNER    1 cup skim milk, small red potato, 6oz chicken breast, 2 cups of strawberries 1 cup green beans

SNACKS 1ST small apple   2ND activia yogurt   3RD 1 serving of crackers and 1oz of cheese

This will give me 109-129g of protein ...20g of protein coming from a protein shake if needed but I did a dry run on this diet (because I was afraid it wouldn't work) and I lost 13lbs in 10days ...but I don't think I need the protein shake.  I am also trying to get back on track with sleeping and last night went to bed @11pm ....didn't sleep right away but was up by 9am ...can't wait for the kids to get back to school to be back on track ......I have teenagers and little guys too and they are all night owls ...wonder where they get it from ???hummmm

Breakfast = 1.5 scrambled eggs with cheese
                      2 slices bacon

Lunch = 2 oz cottage cheese
                a few Almonds

Dinner = Lentil & Spinach soup..... Can't wait to try it when it's done...

Sorry about the mini-dump but if you were happy with the tiny piece of cake and felt it was worth it then yayayaya for you!!!  I still am afraid to try any sugar but then I'm not that far out.

Today I cleaned my porch and it's all pretty now and I feel better sitting out there with it all clean.
We are getting new streets so the dirt and dust have been a nightmare around here. Another few weeks and the project should be complete!!
