What are you eating/doing today? IT'S FRIDAY!!!
From the damn frozen yogurt YESTERDAY I just woke up.
It was a lovely carb coma though. I can't say I 100% regret the decision or the consequence.
So, today is work and then I am heading south to see my girl Hillery!!!! Tomorrow she is going to torture me....er, invited me to spin class...for the sake of post-op empowerment. So please, if you're not already get signed up for the Bariatric Foodie monthly email newsletter so you don't miss the fun little account of that (click the link in my siggy, you'll know what to do from there.)
Eats.
1. Woke up famished so I had 1/4 WW Arnold Thin with some whole foods fresh ground peanut butter and a few soy crisps (breakfast of champions!)
2. I'll have a protein Frappe later
3. Lunch...good question. I'm kinda broke so something from the refrigerator will go with me to the office.
4. Dinner: depends on what Hillery and I decide. Not sure.

I am going for a run after work with one of my friends...I always run alone and am a little nervous because my friend is a runner. The only thing keeping me from breaking out in hives is that she recently had a baby and hasn't been able to do a whole lot in 10 months. Oh and she will be pushing a stroller!
Afterwards I'm having a few friends over to watch the opening ceremonies of the Olympics. I love the Olympics! Everyone is bring different foods from around the world. I ended up buying a bunch of cheeses from different countries. I also found a recipe for spinach and chickpea patties. If I have time after I clean the house I will make those too.
Breakfast- Soy latte
Lunch- left over Nicoise salad from last night and probably 1/2 a protein bar because I ate all the tuna and egg last night.
Dinner- Munchies during the opening ceremonies.
And I'm sure you will do just fine running with your friend.

I am also looking forward to hearing about your spinning! I have been overly wimpy and to be honest scared of spin. It just looks so hard core!! Can you tell I get comfortable doing certain things and nervous to try new ones?? Basically my issue of being scared to fail or let someone else down.... Anyways... can't wait to read about it in the newsletter! You and Charlie are my rock star exercisers this week!
Breakfast - 0% Fage with white chocolate pudding powder, cocoa roast almonds
Snack - cherries
Lunch - chicken salad on a sandwich thin
Snack - cottage cheese, half of a low carb slim fast shake
Dinner - ?? hmmm I'm kinda craving a turkey sub right now, so maybe that. I don't feel like cooking tonight!
25 minutes of upper body and abs this morning. Running tomorrow morning so I gotta fuel a little today...
- Fage 2% and blueberries (man,
the difference in the 2% is unreal....yummy!)
- no clue on anything else
Meow
Be happy.
I'ma be broke for life.

Food is pretty much the usual. Black coffee for breakfast, chicken and vegetables for lunch, yogurt for snacks, and mystery dinner. As much as I like planning my meals my husband and I never know what we want for dinner until we meet up after work. I kind of want a frittata, so maybe I will walk to Eastern Market and get groceries at lunch time.
We don't really have any weekend plans. Last weekend was so crazy with the wedding reception, picnic, and brunch that we're crashing a little this week. My father-in-law hasn't seen Dark Knight Rises yet and my husband and I really want to see it again, so maybe we'll take him on a date. I also want to try making lots of different fruit and yogurt popsicles in my new popsicle maker...mmmm!
Have a good Friday everyone!
