What you know vs. what they know

Very interesting topic.  People forget they have choices.  Do your research and do not ever feel like you can't change if you are not comfortable.

If you don't like the policies in your doctor's office, leave.  You should find out their requirements ahead of time - and if you don't like them ... bounce.

I work in a doctor's office and we require you purchase a particular brand of facial care products before having a face lift.  If you don't purchase it, the doc won't do surgery on you.  His results are the best with these products and that is his rule.

Perhaps the bariatric surgery believes his or her vitamins are the best?  Perhaps it is a money making scheme for the office?  Either way, many doctors are private business men and can set their own rules.  It is not illegal, because you have a choice.  You are volunteering to be there.  It is elective surgery.

I bought a very expensive dog and the breeder required I buy a certain kind of food.  I wanted the dog so I bought the food and as it turns out the food is awesome.  Crazy expensive...but excellent food.
