What's for dinner? Tuesday!

I am just getting over a BAD blood sugar crash. Yowsa. It's my own fault. You'll see when I list my food why I had it. Not sure what's for dinner. I am making my spicy cabbage rolls but may not have them for dinner tonight. Dunno.

Here's what else I had today:

1. 1/2 a WW Arnold thin with deli chipotle chicken and a slice of cheese
2. Chike Orange Creme protein shake w/ milk
3. Sushi, edamame, some miso soup
4. Emergency chocolate squares - about 5? (it was the simplest carb I could find up in here)

I do not do "no rice sushi" (I simply opt not to eat sushi often). So that rice and the bread was probably more than my system wanted. Dunno. The chocolate took about 10 minutes to kick in and now I feel pretty normal again. Ugh.

What's on YOUR plate?

I am on a good roll today.... I am so crossing fingers, toes and eyes hoping I can stick to it!
Had a great workout with the trainer and now working 11hrs. Long day.

B - click mocha w/ skim milk
B2 - turkey bacon, tomato slices, splat of mayo on WW fajita tortilla
L - Kashi blueberry waffles (2), 1 banana, 2Tbs peanut butter
S - click mocha w/ skim milk
- 1/4 Snickers marathon protein bar (last one - they aren't worth the calories so I will be glad it is gone)
- hebrew national 97% ff hotdog no bun
D - Nik's chicken pot pie, bell pepper w/ cheese
S - hotdog no bun and / or Bacon tomato on tortilla as needed

DANG that's a lot of food.... but I still come in at 1507 on calories counting both late snacks.  I love your "more food for the calorie count" theory, Nik!!!

I had kind of a weird lunch, but I liked it so... whatever.    I find that I have strange tastes these days. At least I didn't have Greek yogurt with fruit for lunch for the umpteenth day in a row.

B - Packet of Oatfit oatmeal
S - Vanilla protein shake with Silk Light
S2 - Decaf "latte" with vanilla protein powder
L - 1 oz. roasted soy nuts, 1/4 cup Rainier cherries, 2 oz reduced fat string cheese
S3 -  Decaf "latte" with vanilla protein powder
D - Leftover bean soup or part of a turkey burger
S4 - 5.5 oz V8 juice
Throw in a couple of bottles of H2O, and that's my intake for today.

Lunch- Pure protein S'more's bar and a plum
Snack- 2 oz grilled chicken
Dinner- no clue....wishing that Nik's taco casserole would magically appear in my fridge.  It is slim picking in my house.  Definitely wishing we stopped at the grocery store last nihgt on our way home from seeing Dark Knight!

Just worked part of today since I had a Dr.'s appointment at 11.

Breakfast....just coffee...I usually have a protein bar at work but it was just too busy and I was only there for a couple of hours.

Lunch:
inside of a buffalo chicken slider
1/4 of a southwestern cobb salad

Snack:
sugar free latte
one bite of a thin mint cookie chocolate bar

Dinner:
pork shoulder cooked with jalapenos, korean chili paste, sesame oil, onion, splenda brown sugar and low sodium soy sauce over orange and sesame rice...about 1/2 cup of rice with about 1/2 cup of shredded pork and about a dozen edamame pods

Have a great evening.

I made pecan crusted salmon filets with a pineapple reduction and grilled pineapple pieces. Served with a side of fresh broccoli stirfried with a little soy sauce, garlic, and shallot. Mmm.

I wish I could eat salmon. It sits like a ROCK in my pouch no matter how beautifully it is cooked.
