What's for dinner - Wednesday!

Today is a beautiful day. I vow to go to the lake and walk today!

Other than that, not much of a plan. I probably need to make my stuffed cabbage but in reality I am probably going to have an eggchilada. Here's what I had the rest of the day:

1. Click Frappe
2. (Newbies: prepare to gasp) 6 inch turkey breast/ham sub with double meat and a bag of Harvest Cheddar Sun Chips (and for those wondering this satisfied me but by no means was I "stuffed"...as I have said ad nauseum I have the Wonder Pouch)
3. A new protein espresso drink I am reviewing for the blog whose name I choose not to disclose at this time :)

Believe it or not I logged my eggchilada and the rest of what I have planned and my stats aren't so bad even with lunch. Just goes to show...balanced eating works!

What's on your plate today

Ugh...it's been a rough day.  My stomach is still not 100% after last night's puke-fest.

B:  3 slices ham + 1 LF cheese stick
S:  8 oz skim milk
L:  chili with cheese and onions
D:  1/4 of nacho meat, cheese, tomatoes
S:  2 sf popsicles
O:  more skim milk

Lots of crystal light, as water still doesn't sit as well as I'd like it to.

 Wow! It's been a LONG time since I've jumped on this one.

Today has been a busy day at work. In fact, I'm still here even though it's after 5:00. Got a couple more projects to tackle before I leave.

So far today I've had:

Breakfast -- peanut butter toast, followed later by protein iced coffee
Lunch - McD's Southwest chicken salad
Snack - nothing, but might end up being a protein bar or pb crackers before I had home

So dinner is not planned and will probably be something very simple. Here's the idea:

* 4-5 oz deli sliced chicken breast
* 1 cup grapes
* a cheesestick or two

This is my easy go-to summer meal. It's already prepped in the fridge and doesn't require any work!

Have a good night!
Pam

 Mmmm, Subway.

Dinner tonight is Israeli couscous and beef casserole with green peas and mushrooms, along with roasted butternut squash with a maple glaze.  And maybe some salad on the side, but I'll probably be too full.

Totally off topic.

I HATE that drinking ice water (or iced protein) is akin to giving yourself a cold water enema (if you think about it... it's kinda the same, just from a different end...) and results in instantaneous goosebumps and freezy-ness.  I HATE being cold!  It never fails.  I have to follow up with hot tea to warm back up.

Thank you, Nik. Thank you. You not only inspire me with your posts, teach me to cook with your blog - you give me hope for success even with my Soccer Ball sized pouch. I hope I can be at least half as successful as you are!

 I am about to dig into my all time favorite..1 portobello mushroom broiled with garlic, spinach and mozzarella cheese, yummy!

B:  steel cut oats and blueberries
S:  venti soy latte, sprinkled with vanilla powder
L:  soft taco
d:  as above
Later, likely milk with blueberries and protien.  I too have a ginnormous pouch, I would not be satisfied on shakes and string cheese (wish I could be).   Haven't added up the stats yet, maybe good maybe not
