Ok, who's riding with me to Atlanta?

 I just booked my room for OH Conference. But a plane ticket...yeah...not happening on this girl's budget. I know there are others in the PA/MD/VA/DC area going. 

If you're interested in carpooling, please let me know! I did that two years ago at Cincinnati conference and we had a BALL! We took shifts driving, laughed, talked. It was everything good about support group...except in a car with lots of sillyness.

Anyway, let me know who's interested. I need to get organized!!!

Hmm. Airtran offers a non-stop from Baltimore to ATL for 274.60, and if you sign up for Kayak, you can get fare alerts if it goes down. How much is gas and wear and tear on your car? Just a thought. And I know sometime $275 can seem like a million dollars for me.

But back to your question, hope you get some takers. I'm going to be on another trip that weekend, but the last time I went to that conference, it was really good. I would go otherwise if you'd swing through North Alabama on your way.

I can't afford a plane ticket. For Cincy a bunch of us rode together and each pitched in for gas and one person had a van in good condition.

I don't plan to ride or pay for this alone!

Oh yeah. Splitting it up would be great. I drove to ATL alone last time, but I'm only 3 1/2 hours away.

 I am excited. But yeah...either it's find cost cutting measures or don't go. My daughter's birthday is that month, then 8 days later Halloween and I usually start putting stuff on layaway for Christmas about this time. AND with my mom gone, Thanksgiving falls to me (it's totally going potluck though) so that's another expense. And I am not nearly a wealthy woman. Hell, right now I think I only have one nostril above water!

I have most get-togethers at my house as well. My sister and I used to swap up, but she is very ill, so I do most of it now. And boy can those expenses add up.

Well, I hope you get to go. You deserve it especially for all the support you provide here.

Still unsure if I'll be there - if I do, it will just be for the Saturday part. It's about a 3.5 hour ride from where I am.
