I know exactly what it is!

She is phony!  she tries to be something she is not.

I read an article onetime where when she people moved in to a house near her she went over with a dish to welcome them and they shut the door on her!

Don't know if it is true but I would have

Now Paul, that is not showing your Southern manners.  We should take the casserole, look sweetly into her eyes and say "Thank you Shuga-and bless yo Hawt".

We all KNOW what "bless yo Hawt" really means.................

AND HOW DID I MISS THE PEDI PIC?  MUST'VE BEEN WHEN I WAS ON VACAY.

I'm not a Southener!  I am a transplant but I sure love the life and people in the South so much better than Las Vegas!

I definitely didn't take it personally, Lora.  =)   You make great points and I totally get it.  I was
just saying that not everybody who posts is trying to "get over" on the plan or eat around it.  I didn't feel my post was asking when.  I felt like I was asking do you eat it and how did you
fare
.  I stick to my plan, not other's plans, but it was good to see the feedback and learn from
other's experiences.

HOWEVER.....I did learn something out of all of this....whole wheat pasta, bread or rice isn't
that much better nutritionally than the regular stuff.  That is something I didn't know and I'm
glad I do know now!

Oh...and I also learned that just because it's on the list of "have sparingly" doesn't mean you
necessarily should have it.

Personally I'm in no hurry to introduce any "bad" foods into my diet ... I'm a 'carbophobe'. Having no appetite and not being hungry makes it easy to say no to things that I know aren't good for me (or that I don't think are good for me). My surgeon wants me to get more calories in the form of fats and that's even 'tough' for me to do ... scary more than anything.

My weight loss is really slow right now, my surgeon wants me to be eating more calories, but he specifically said to make those in the form of fat or more protein, I'td probably fight him if he said carbs.

That's just my take on it. I don't know, maybe not everyone has lost their appetite like I have. It's what I appreciate the most so far.

Lora-

Love your post....great words of advise! I am at the "I would do anything to get rid of this body stage" but I have also wondered when I will be able to eat certain foods aain post-surgery. Your post was really helpful!
