Hah--once you have an episode you'll never forget them!
It's when you eat something that gets stuck in your pouch and won't go down, maybe due to not chewing enough. Your digestive system automatically tries to help by making the esophagus more slippery. It doesn't work, because the food is in the way. Your mouth continues to make saliva, but there's still no room for it to go down the tube! You begin to spit out the saliva, and it's all "foamy".
The only cure is to go stick your head in the toilet and let the stuck food come back up (don't worry, it's only an urp not the painful paroxysm we used to have). Ahhh--relief!
Still, not an experience one cares to repeat too often.
