Let's help new folks out by starting a good list of the acronyms or sayings we use here.

I'll get us started with the ones I can think of:

WLS = weight loss surgery
RNY = Roux-en-Y (gastric bypass)
NSV = non-scale victory
EBW = excess body weight
BMI = body mass index
YMMV = your mileage may vary (your opinion may differ)
"Swinging chickens" = Good luck
NOM = Yummy
Whippage = whipped cream
WW = (usually) whole wheat
SF = sugar-free
FF = fat-free
PB2 = a powdered peanut product made by Bell plantation. 85% less calories than peanut butter.

Those are the ones off the top of my head. If you have a term you've heard but you don't know the meaning of, post! If you have more to add to the list, post! I can make a master list once folks have contributed and share it some kinda way.

RNY Gastric Bypass 1-8-08 350/327/200 (HW/SW/CW). I spend most of my time playing with my food over at Bariatric Foodie - check me out!
