Tea for regularity?
I used an herbal tea from two different companies. Both seemed to help with my constipation. They had licorice root among other herbal ingredients. Each patient has to find "their own rememdy for constipation" according to my surgeon. Stool softeners, Miralax, herbal tea, prunes, warm prune juice, choosing some foods daily, etc. Every pateint is different and so are their solutions for constipation. DAVE

Most teas that help with bowel movements have a laxative effect and a lot of them include sennosides. You don't want to develop a dependence on them. Try sticking with stool softeners and bulk fiber supplements. If you need something to help you go, then try a glycerin suppository or a fleet's enema.
