I have heard that there are some good teas to help you "go". Does anyone know what the names of these teas are? I'm looking for natural or at least safe for regular use remedies. Thanks!

I was told by my Nut to only use them 2 times a week at most because you can get attached to them and NEED them over time. there called Smooth move tea.

I used one called "Smooth Move".  It didn't really help much.

I used an herbal tea from two different companies. Both seemed to help with my constipation.  They had licorice root among other herbal ingredients.  Each patient has to find "their own rememdy for constipation" according to my surgeon.  Stool softeners, Miralax, herbal tea, prunes, warm prune juice, choosing some foods daily, etc. Every pateint is different and so are their solutions for constipation.  Most teas that help with bowel movements have a laxative effect and a lot of them include sennosides.  You don't want to develop a dependence on them.  Try sticking with stool softeners and bulk fiber supplements.  If you need something to help you go, then try a glycerin suppository or a fleet's enema.

I use "total tea" citrus flavor,I buy it at a dr office. The web site is wwwtotaltea.net. Ingredients cinnamon, senna, and herbs. One cup daily or every other day is all you need & it's really good tasting.
