I am staying a bit at the office to work on some Bariatric Foodie stuff.

I am tired of SAYING I'm going to do things on this site. I am ready to DO them. You know what I'm sayin'???

Anyhoo...I've got a few things planned in my day from this point out food-wise. Namely:

1/2 Arnold thin with PB (pre-workout)
a fish taco for dinner
1/2 Arnold thin with tomato, mayo and cheese (pillow snack...I love that term Lithia)

I am going to do the rowing machine (hate that mofo!), elliptical and some weights at the gym tonight. Not sure if all the food is happening (my tummy feels a bit...tentative) but I will do what I can.

What's on your plate tonight?

RNY Gastric Bypass 1-8-08 350/327/200 (HW/SW/CW). I spend most of my time playing with my food over at Bariatric Foodie - check me out!

Giiirrrrrrrl. I am right there with you.

I have had this black cloud hanging over my head these last two weeks--a heavy list of things I've been putting off that need to get done. I've been overwhelmed, stressed, upset and embarassed that I've made commitments I couldn't end up keeping, etc.

So today, I made a damn list, stuck everything on it, and started crossing stuff off. It feels nice to have at least gotten some things done, if not even half of it yet.

I also went to Sam's Club today to pick up a few items, and they had a vanilla protein shake on sample, so I tried it. Warily. But hell, how often do you get free samples of protein mixes handed to you? I have NEVER found one that I like, other than Unjury's Chicken Soup. Even Syntrax Nectar tastes like spoiled milk to me. But I tried this, and it was delicious!! I asked for a second sample, just to be sure, and ended up buying a tub. HOORAH!! I don't normally need protein supplements, but now that I'm adding Crossfit into my routine, I need to kick it up a notch.

Anyway, dinner was at Sam's tonight. The kids were hungry so I bought them hotdogs and I had a pecan, feta, and cranberry spinach salad. Yum. (7g protien)

Lunch was a turkey Lean Cuisine with cranberries, potatoes, carrots, and green beans. (18g protein)

Breakfast was an Atkins shake. (15g protein)

I'm at less than 600 calories today, and 40g of protein, but I didn't work out this morning, and I'm not hungry. So I'll just have a greek yogurt and a protein bar later, which will bring me up to 900 calories and 73g protein. Good deal.

After 4 hours of solid exercise, I think I'll have a small roasted cow, over-easy.

Actually I think I'll have some yoghurt, or my leftover spinach and artichoke heart enchiladas. I've been having several "small pouch days" in a row.

I ended up making a chicken salad with grapes on a bed of baby spinach and cucumbers with four whole grain crackers, it was good and filling and exactly what I needed and wanted.

I also did a HIIT and core class tonight where the trainer revels in making you sweat...I'm bushed!
