What's for dinner - Monday!
I don't know how many folks can relate to this, but today is one of those days where I wish I WANTED to eat myself into oblivion. I don't want to...but I wish I did.
Which in my world means there is something percolating in my mind. My mind's natural state is to eat when this happens but after many years of hard fought mental battles my body doesn't like the ill effects of binging and stages a little rebellion when my brain starts to take me there. So then I get stuck in this really weird place where I wanna eat but don't wanna eat but am not really hungry anyway and so I just say screw it and drink a lot of water. And stew about absolutely nothing at all until whatever I am mad about comes to the surface.
Yes, I am psycho, thanks for asking.
All that said, dinner will be when I get home from support group. I'm supposed to make myself a fish taco (using lettuce instead of a tortilla). Blah.
Here's what else I had today:
1. Click Frappe
2. Half a burrito bowl from the local Chipotle knock-off joint (where nobody speaks English so it wasn't worth trying to explain that I didn't want rice so I took it and ate some. I am still alive to tell the tale!)

I am almost having my 2nd successful day in a row... yay me.
I rested Saturday and Sunday (seriously - slept constantly, I was so tired) and so I didn't feel right not doing ANYTHING today. I helped my folks and took the chicken to the vet, helped my folks , lunch and then I motivated and went to the gym where I ran a full mile without stopping for the first time in my life! WOOT! Actually, I went 1.53 miles, but I walked the first 2 minutes so I docked a half mile (yes, ridiculous). Now wor****il midnight.
B - chocolate protein w/ fresh rainier cherries, milk
L - Nik's Taco Casserole, cabbage, tomato slice, bits of pepper
S - quest
D - Nik's Magic Meatballs, bertolli 5chz sauce, cabbage, maybe put the meatballs on a foldit, we'll see
S - Fage w/ Dole's Frozen wild berry mix
- Clif's protein bar or another quest

Today, I need to get in a BOATLOAD more calories. So I'm gonna have myself a little foodstravaganza tonight.
For breakfast, I had a bowl of Special K Protein Plus with half a banana and a splash of coconut milk. I like to have carbs before a heavy workout. (11g protein)
Then I went to the gym and did Crossfit.
15 minutes of kettlebell high-swings. 2 minutes on, 45 seconds rest.
Two laps running around the track.
12 minutes of WallBall with 10lb medicine balls. 1.5 minutes on, 30 seconds rest.
Two laps running around the track.
10 minutes of prone jack-knives, using foot gliders. 1 minute on, 15 seconds rest
Two laps running around the track.
Sit ups. 2 minutes on, 30 seconds rest.
Two laps running around the track.
And then I had to go teach swim class.
Came home and had a meatloaf Lean Cuisine with mac and cheese. Wolfed that down like crazy. (18g protein)
Had two hardboiled eggs a couple hours after that. (10g protein)
So that brings me to 39g of protein. Not NEARLY enough so far. Dinner will likely be meatballs in BBQ sauce, followed by a Quest bar for dessert. That should bring me up to roughly 80g. And if I can sneak in a greek yogurt as well, all the better. But good God, that's a lot of food. I'll have to really space it out.

i have perfected my vegan protein pancake/cake thingie. And I took pictures and ate it for dinner lol.
That is the one annoying thing with trying to play with my food that no one else in the house will eat, it takes me many meals to get it right lol. but for now i can stop eating it for dinner.

How do you like your support group? Do you find it helps when you have "I want to want to eat" moments? And is your support group for food addict or for WLS patients?

yesterday's rosemary/thyme pot roast with potatoes, carrots and onions

I am half the person I was in 2008.
I was blessed with some garden fresh squash so I diced it and browned it in Pam. Threw some spinach in ad sautéed with it then poured egg whites over. Scrambled. Spray butter and Parmesan then deviled eggs made with mustard, worchestire and sweetener.
Dessert is frozen cool whip with diet orange Crush.
I also rec'd my Chike protein coffee and I'm dying to open it but I shall wait till in the morning
